Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. That tutorial just makes me want him more- his assembly looks like so much fun! And I really like all the subtle details you can see in his arms that I didn't notice before, like light muscles etc. It always bothers me when the arms are just 'tubes'. Also the finishing on this doll is superb, I like the 'cap' that goes over the neck hook part to hide all of the stringing.

      Edit: Oh and this part made me LOL
      "When you remove the face, the shining luster is very pleasant to the eye"
      I love the way these companies phrase things sometimes^.^

    3. :shudderOh heck no! I just saw that re-stringing and it looks like a jig saw puzzle, I have not even restrung my Hound and to see that! I really want to see owner pics, but I don't think I will be getting one....

    4. That doesn't look too bad. I hope the "hook" in the upper body part where you put the arm elastic is strong enough to hold the tension. I would hate to see it break, but you could always string it the old way.

    9. Wow. Just, wow. :O I am in complete awe of his...his...genius. More and more this new body grows on me. The more I see, the more I want to hold him in my arms~ I'd be afraid to restring him....but then again I'm afraid to restring any of my dolls still. ^^;

    10. hmmm.... seeing those restringing pictures makes me think that actually you could sand the ribs and abs and shoulderblades to be softer (not completely away - but that would be silly anyway)

      i worry about the resin bumps for the arms - the narae/narin resin hook knees had issues, but the arms would be a lot less tension i would think....

      add me to the group waiting to see what the other heads look like....

      edit - though i notice he doesn't have s-hooks for hands/feet - i hope that i can put my own s-hooks on ... i really don't like having them tied on personally....

    11. While I was never completely against this body, the more I see it and how it works, the more I want one. I won't get Orijean though because I am afraid of aliens and he reminds me of one. D: Though I do like his mouth. I can't wait to see how the other faces turn out. ^___^

    12. All the left-hand-side pieces are labelled. :D

      The first thing I did with my first dolls was to unstring them. :)

      This process looks involved, but each step is easy. I like the body better now that I have seen this tutorial

      If the money works out & Saint looks good, I am going to get one.

    16. The other three Dollshe bodies have come strung without s-hooks, as well. Most of us have restrung the bodies so that the hands, at least, have the hooks. It gives me a lot of hope - seeing those glorious pics - that the Soom hands might work after all!

    17. When I saw the restringing photo that is what I thought too for those interested in the jointed hands :) Seems like you would just need to remove the default hands but unattaching it from the main elastic cord then adding the S-hook and attaching the jointed hands to that....
      That's just me guessing though because I don't have a pair of the jointed hands ^_~
      ...now if only Soom/Dollstown/Dollshe made them in paletan:lol:

    19. restringing him is like a puzzle! Heh heh...when i ever get one I think i'll just leave him as he is lol. By looking at the pictures i can just tell how big this boy is!!! His thighs!!!! They're so big and long! I feel like it'd be half of my arm O_O.
