Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I'm excited... but I am far from having what it takes to get one this year T_T
      They are the only dolls at 70 that I really like and want to get...
      Why do companies always sell something new or re-release something when I bream about them but cannot get them ???

    4. I couldn't find any of the official pics any longer (maybe someone with better searching skillz than I can), but this comparison thread shows both the V1 and V2 Dollshe body.

    5. WOW!! I love my Hound, but I am suprised that he is actually re-releasing the old style body. I guess there are so many fakes out there that the fans have spoken out and pleaded for something to be done about it. Glad he made the choice to listen to the fans. I wonder if the older heads will have faceplates......after reading his statement on Dollstown website I guess the only heads will be the ones he has now available.

    8. I don't think there are any shots of the PURE body yet. Sounds like he's in the process of restoring/improving it. Hopefully we'll get photos soon .... or not. :sweat Like so many have said here, you're buying something unseen.

      Even if Dollshe doesn't re-release the old heads, I'm glad the old body (updated) is being re-released. I love the old body...makes me kind of want a Saint, too. Dang. ;;

    14. Really excited to hear about this. Dollshe is the body I wanted for the head I'm sculpting but the 3 that were released were either too muscular or the one before this one just a bit too skinny. Hoping for pics soon ;)

    15. Frankly, I've been in the hobby since early 2003 and have waited long lengths of time for dolls from a number of manufacturers.

      Sometimes if we wait, opportunities disappear. With this in mind, I have quite clearly ordered a tanskin PURE BODY with Bernard head, and I am quite sure that what I receive will closely resemble the original doll, with the most notable exception being that the head will be done in two pieces. I'm really not all that worried that I'll be disappointed with what I receive, nor do I require pictures of owner dolls before I order. Art items, especially when pre-ordered, are speculative.

      I'm just thrilled that the opportunity to add a doll I've wanted for quite some time now exists.

      I do not think that owner pictures will show up any time soon, but that depends on how one defines soon. I'm thinking that 2-3 months is unlikely, but perhaps November/December will happen.

      While maintaining the original models, we will remedy the shortcomings in the interior finish and structural defects in order to raise the sculptural sophistication of the dolls to a new level. The face is removable and fastens easily to the head. We have opted for the independent tension system, increasing the number of aluminum parts, and thus, enabling enhanced mobility.

      So ... old style body, revamped? Sounds like the PURE is going to be strung like the new bodies but maybe to do some of this, there will be some a bit of modding? I guess time will tell! And the long wait .... :sweat

      If this is the page I think I'm posting, you'll see the various heads, plus a note that the heads will fit all of the bodies (including the reconfigured Pure Body). I can't say I'm entirely used to dolls with faceplates, but post first-experience with Unoa and Bishonen (I know, I know), I'm sure it will be just fine with the Dollshe guys, too.

    19. So I just caught up with this announcement discussion - wow!!

      I am glad he is 'revamping' the old body. Are we talking about the body sometimes referred to as Hound version 2? I love the hands.

      Definitely going on my Want It list! But not gonna do a preorder this time. The ds18m situation was too painful for me.
