WOW!! I just like found out about this today.....LOL! I hope they will re-release ALL of the older heads, including the Bermann heads (both the DO and the SA)...there are friends I know who have pined so bad for these for years...I hope one day they get a happy ending. On the purchasing side, I must say I am very wary of purchasing items online overseas sight unseen where the wait for the item is more than a couple of months....many things can happen in the span of a few months, a large corporation may even under budgeted and go bust even after taking so many deposits from customers...I hope Dollshe won't, but I think I will wait until there's more definite scheduling, more photos of the actual product I'm buying... Does anyone know what this "Pre-order" means? Does it mean that you can only purchase the Pure Bodies within this pre-order period or there will be regular sales after that the only thing is that you have to wait a bit longer perhaps?
The Pure body will be available after this time period. It's just that you get free shipping if you order before the 15th.

Hiya helene! Sounds like it is the unlimited Hound body that is being updated or recast. From the tiny photo on the website, I wonder if it isn't the Hound v1 body as that tummy looks a little on the round side.

It is really awesome that we have all these different body choices now. Hopefully a body type for most tastes~!^^ I really love my DSAM32 body, but for one of my characters I wanted a 70cm. (The DS18 was to skinny for him) so... I just ordered a Pure body in paletan. I'm kinda happy and nervous right now. I hope the renewal goes smoothly XD Has anyone seen the open post on Dollshe order page (2nd page at the moment)by Dollshe Craft? It shows an unpainted photo of Pabo in comparison to Rosen. It says Rosen was the starting point in designing Pabo.
I hear ya Helene! I would so love another new 'old' body (hahaha) in Pale Tan....le sigh.... That's interesting...only a few views on that post. The heads really are *very* similar. I sort of like his small little smile and calm eyes...I could see him as an interesting character. I'm curious to see what people do with him. I went ahead and ordered the Purebody hands...I can see myself stocking up on those, esp. with all the fingers I've broken on dolls this year....added a pair of DSAM35 hands to my order for my Orijean...yep. Broke his fingers too. Photoshoots can wreak havoc on a doll!!
The only real difference I personally see in Pabo is his slimmer nose. If ya don't like Rosen's honker go fer the slimmed down version :3 I would love to be stocking up right now on lovely Dollshe hands- with the free shipping and all it is hard to resist. I wonder how well they would work on the DSAM body?
Ohh I didn't know you can even order just...body parts!! I've yet to break anything, but the way my silly cat is gnawing at everything it's just a matter of days...*cries* I haven't heard of this "Pabo" yet, I'm gonna check him out...
I'm Keeping my fingers crossed for a pure skin (ns) IM Hound in the future and I totally regret selling my original Dollshe Saint.
Damn. I JUST Decided I need a Saint, and was gonna keep the old body I already have, but .. re release!!!! Also, I fully agree about the Faceups, I just kept thinking they changed Saint too much, but I've now seen people's pics of the new ones, and he looks the same. So.. I need one. *sigh* I'll probably wait untill someone reviews the differences between them, so I've got till like, december to sell stuff and buy him.
I have a DSAM35s body with a Saint head, could I put this "35s" head on the "old" pure body or will they release the old head to go with this body ? I don't understand a thing about this announcement...
@Pheonix: I suggest looking at this post for an old vs. new saint head comparison. Thank you!! I really prefer the older SA eyes... But I feel like the new one's eyes could be opened to that size too. I feel like there's a little difference in the size of the lips as well... But I actually do like the Nose. Blech, Now I want even more. Just took my Bernard out to a meet, and I fall hard for him every time I take pics of him. Once again, thanks for the link.
Little nudge for this thread - hope that's ok! Trying to find measurement info for the 'Pure' body....I realise it's an upgraded body, but are the stats still the same?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but Dollshe hasn't released anything about the new body yet. Just that he is in the restoration process. Hopefully we'll hear some news soon from Mr. Dollshe. : /
It's a little confusing because of the pre-order period in July and in the release notice it states The original model has been kept in storage for a prolonged period of time. Therefore, we need to do some restoration work, touching up on any cracks or damages. We expect this process to take a couple of months, so the dolls should be ready to ship in about 2-3 months after the orders are placed. So, doesn't this mean that those who placed an order in July are likely to get their dolls around October, but without any final picture/details of the body?
I actually participated in that order, and I have nooooo idea what he'll do. XD I figured once dollshe was ready to ship, or getting close, there would be an update. I also am not expecting it to be finished in 2-3 months. I have a feeling it will be a bit longer... would be great though if it actually was.
I apologize if this has been answered, but I don't have time to read through all 7 pages right now Was this a limited release, or will the new old body be available to anyone after this preorder? I regret selling my Bernard, and those new bodies didn't really do much for me, but if the old bodies are available again I might have to rebuy him.
My understanding, LexehAnn, is that the body is going to be part of their regular offering now and the preorder special was just to offer free shipping to those that ordered during that time period. After that, you can still order the body, but will have to pay shipping charges now.
