It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     6. There are no pictures on the Tensiya site as the dolls are listed under
      optional parts and take a lot longer to produce than the NS or BW boys.
      If you want one, I find it best to let them know before you order so they can explain all of the above

      I haven't got around to painting a face on my boy yet, but I posted a picture in the gallery if you want take a look.

    11. I'm not fond of the reddishness of the Tensiya tan. I really have to ask them if they choose the color or it's whatever comes out, given the variable conditions at the time of the molding.

    13. I've just messaged back and forth with Tensiya. Their standard tan color right now is the deep reddish one the recent Bernard came in (check the gallery threads, wolfemeister, for the tan Bernard).

      Unfortunately, I prefer the older, lighter tan (if you want to see both, go to Tensiya, to the fur wigs page. There's a hound in the newer tan on the upper left, and the older tan on the upper right). Or at least something that isn't going to blend right in with my terracota flower pots! But Tensiya said that's their color right now and - an interesting statement to the effect that the company/factory that makes the dolls is a "partnership company", not their own factory, and that because of that they can't "ask them to do too much"!

      Ah well. I'll just have to enjoy the pale boys for now!

    14. You need to also consider that no two monitors see color in the same way
      (as with people).
      I have a flat screen at home and things just pop out at me - yet at work the photos I take seem on the colorless and dull side.
      The new Tensiya tan is more a milk chocolate than a terracotta and my older Tan IM Hound is nowhere near as light as either photo on Tensiya (Can you say flood light).

      Take a chance, what the worst that could happen. You don't like him and I buy 'em:mwahaha
