1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

      I love this thread

2005 WOW ...I had to take my tinys out of the Mini Baby born house ...my cat kept jumping in it !

I could have killed her !

middle of the night I would hear such a crash as she catapulted the house ...dolls and 6 ton of rement across the dinning room :x

so I got me another Dollshouse ...one the cat couldnt get into
I will try and find my photos of the new one

      Deb ...I love your dollhouse:aheartbea

    2. Just in case no one has mentioned it, there's a great older book about making dollhouse cabinets, room boxes and furniture. It's The Dollhouse Book by Estelle Ansley Worrell. It's out of print, so you'd have to check someplace like addall.com, but I highly recommend it as a place to start. Now that I have tinys, I'm revisiting my copy of it to get ideas. :)

    3. Toydogz - toybox!!!!!!!!!! I so love so many of your little diorama setup rooms!

And a silly idea to add. For those of us who don't have room for a dollhouse and only have a few mini tinies - for my LatiWhite and my Naripon, I just got an on-sale silverware basket at Target this week. It's designed for picnic use, so it is woven reed, about six inches deep, 16 inches long and has three large partitions - just enough for me to fit their little bunk bed in one room, a chair and desk in another, and a mini play room in the widest partition. I plan on fiddling around with this next month. ^_^

    4. wow fantastic dollhouse! I love all your furniture and details and all!

And, lol, when you go into Tinies BJD after getting into Riley, the things you usually things is:

-will these 'Riley- stuff' (shoes, props, clothes, whatever) will fit on my tiny?
      -And later, you'll just think..humm...Riley..who?

    5. Toydogz4 I love that house!! That photo is wonderful of your Lucy lying on the bed. I bought a house on ebay. My daughter is horrified because it looks so old and scabby lol. However I plan to revamp it .. I have time before the girls arrive and it just made me feel cozy looking at it.

I love houses-I can't seem to buy a doll without making at least a room for her. I have more fun with the accessories than the doll actually:o
Thanks everyone for the comments on my house, it is still a work in progress, but my Baha kitty will be taking over the top boys room. He actually seems to fit okay and doesn't look too out of scale--guess cause the Bahas are so strangely proportioned the cartoonishness works.

    7. Look forward to updated kitty pictures

    8. bumping this ^^

anyone know how Roxy Lucy would fit in 1/12 scale house and furniture??

    9. she is a little large but because she is so slight and slender she looks OK
I will take some pictures of Nami in the house

I keep meaning too ...but never get around to it

    10. Here's two of Lucy in roughly dollshouse scale:***click little pics for larger**

[IMG] This is a Muppet Show kitchen which is a tad bit larger than regular 1/12 scale (look under Swedish Chef on ebay) I also have the Muppet space ship--hilarious!
[IMG] This is regular 1/12 scale. So-Ji and Roxy Yam fit it very well, while Lucy looks large, but not too disproportinate.

    11. That's really helpful, thanks!!

    12. There are so many cute dollhouses on here. I'm so inspired!

    13. I went to Target today, and while browsing the toy section came across a dollhouse that appears to be the PERFECT size for CH Petite Ai & similarly-sized dolls. It's a Kidkraft So Suite Dollhouse. http://www.target.com/gp/detail.htm...7/601-3306301-9739323?ie=UTF8&asin=B000UEKJHU

At $99 it's pretty steep though, although it seemed pretty sturdy and comes with 8 pieces of wooden furniture (which also looked to be the right proportion). There were other furniture sets you could buy as well (bedroom, kitchen, etc) for $15 each. So cool. Everything was pretty simplistic, so then I started contemplating how easy it would be to use the dimensions as a starting point and building my own... but then again yeah, I have absolutely no woodworking experience and once you figure in time and materials it would be pretty easy to exceed the cost of the original.

Anyway, thought maybe someone out there might be looking for a dollhouse this size :)

    14. I went out to eBay today and checked on those American Girl rooms. Full sets are running $199 to $299 at the high end.

    15. You all have given me such great ideas to try out. Thank you.

    16. I found a great bargain at Goodwill last week ($20), and finally got it put together.
This is one of the Target Bookcase dollhouses, and it will be home to my little Lati Yellow SP kids. The furniture (except for the couch and chair and canopy bed) is all my own childhood Strombecker stuff that my mom saved for me. I can't wait to get it decorated and all their little goodies moved in!

      its wonderful!
      and I LOVE the furniture

    18. *sorrrrrry for big pictures*
Okay, so I've found out a lot about my dollhouse so I'm going to post a bit about it here to help people out. In a local discount store my aunt found my three feet tall dollhouse for 50 dollars: assembled, with furniture, and wallpaper. I've made some changes with a bit of new furniture that I've been given and stuff and maybe it'll help someone else. They have 2 rooms per floor, three floors. It's pretty cute. I'll go in order from top to bottom and let to right. These houses are pretty common, you just have to look out for them.

Here's an picture of the size. The little pink blob is my Sprinkle! (Orientdoll So Dong) The hinges open (hinges on side, stays closed in the middle w/ magnets) and allow you too see six box rooms, and 3 hallways with actual stairs. I have pictures of the individual rooms: I added some things (non-wooden furniture) and removed some of the furniture that I didn't like. The white furniture pieces are from the Ikea Dollhouses and the random props are from Barbie, Kelly, and other dolls. Sorry for being vague. Dx

    20. They have miniature wardrobes and things at the dollar store. They don't function, but it looks good in the room. Especially for the price.
