I received my Hyun on new 16 girl body today Here with my Elysia 17. Big and lil sisters reunited. I love her

@citronrouge Thank you for the photos. Honestly, I wasn't that interested in the 16 year girl body after just seeing the photos by DT. It looked to odd and boney to me. But, after seeing yours I'm liking it more.

I’m getting a DT 17 boy body but I want to switch the hands & feet. Hopefully switch them to male high heels and long nails. Any suggestions for brands?

 

I used to have the 18yr body and the original 17 year together and there is a BIG difference in height between them. TBH, I would not have the 18yr again, it's such a beautiful sculpt but incredibly heavy, it was too much for most of my doll stands! The way the foot was put together also caused issues when getting her to stand even when wired and heavily sueded. The MOST BEAUTIFUL body sculpt though. The 17yr body is much lighter and easier too handle, so I guess the 16 is too. Here is Soi on the 18yr body and Kana on the 17 next to each other.

I ordered the new Hue head when the order opened. My head will be shipping tomorrow so he could be here by next Wednesday. I bought a body second hand so will know how well it works on the 18 year soon.

Anybody know what I am supposed to do with the extra fabric on wig?

 

You just trim the extra fabric as close to the wig as you can, and then it looks like a natural hairline!!

Yes. His body and head are the new resin color from Dollstown for Oriental skin.

 

I finally figured out the mystery molds in the photos I asked about a while ago: they are Yujin, Rian and Daisy (not entirely sure about this one, please tell me if I'm wrong!). I had completely missed Yujin up to this point, probably because the sculpt defaulted on male bodies, and I think I need her in my life. Probably next year at this point but I think I'll eventually cave in and get her on the 18yo.

Edit: This is also Yujin, pretty obvious from this one.

 

I would’ve never guessed the first one to be Yujin- such a versatile sculpt And I never would have guessed the Daisy one either- I really like her face sculpt in the photo. I may need to rethink - her or Byul

Does anyone know if Dollstown does holiday discount or if they do discounts periodically? I really want to get the new girl body while discount is active, but I don’t think I can swing another doll right now

 

@krystina That's still my guess from looking a lot at the galleries, but on Yujin I am fairly sure. Beautiful, beautiful sculpt.

How is the quality of the resin in the newer casts? I've heard a lot of praise on Dollstown's resin being heavy and dense, is that still up to standard since they started casting independently?

 

Yep no difference, same high quality, same heavy and dense resin.
