1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dollstown Elf Body Discussion - Part 2

May 21, 2015

    1. It is fine to post photos, this thread is really for the body as a lot of us (me included) use different heads, it is always nice as well to see what fits.

    2. Thank you - I was wondering where I could post her (I'm always a bit iffy about where to post hybrids) as her head is msd and her body SD ! So I'll take some photos tomorrow and post them here. It's a good match proportionally but not quite a100% resin colour match, but good enough for me

    3. You can definitely post photos of your Dandelion on the elf body here! I wish that you would, as I have wanted to see how she fits on the elf. And yes, totally agree on the unbelievable beauty of this body.
      Congratulations.

    4. Yay!

Please do share pictures of her. I love the dandelion sculpt.

      Teddy

    5. Thanks guys - thats very welcoming !! So here's my Bimong Dandelion, all grown-up, on her Elf body. Her name is Nari.

    6. Oh that works really well!

      Teddy

    7. She's super on that body @samson ! :D
I'm still dragging my feet about my own Dandelion/Dollstown hybrid but now I'm freshly inspired again.
Can I ask what size clothes is she wearing? I think this is my biggest thing with the elf body, is how tricky of a fit it may be and I'm worn out from my tricky fit dolls. :sigh

    8. Im so glad I actually went ahead and got this body - i found her original body so childlike and hard to pose. The t-shirt dress is from this etsy seller https://www.etsy.com/transaction/1058900555 as you see its a t-shirt for a larger sd but fits like a mini dress. She wore it when she was on her old body too. the boots are from this seller Style4Bjd and are made for feeple 60 but fit a treat. I enjoy the challenge of finding things for the inbetweeny size dolls - you have to think a bit creatively lol

    9. Thank s Teddy, I think so too !

    10. Nari is lovely! I like how she fits the elf body. Thanks so much for sharing.

    11. So far I've seen Bimong and DIM hybrids with the elf body. What other company's heads work on this lovely sculpt?

    12. Thank you for your kind comments xx

    13. I love Nari too! I am a huge fan of the Dandelion sculpt and hope to own one someday. Now that I know she is good fit on the elf body I am also more motivated to proceed when the opportunity strikes.

    14. Oh you so should, I really do recommend doing it! Dandelion is a beautiful sculpt and the body is a perfect match. The more of this hybrid the better !

    15. Did you have to buy the entire Dandelion Doll to start with or did you get lucky and find a head for sale? Also is the DT elf body fresh skin and the Bimong head normal skin?

    16. Could anyone try a dollstown 13 yrs head on the elf? Or a 15 yrs boy (specifically yujin?) on the elf? I know it would take a neck mod to make it work (~9 cm neck to 7.6 cm tiny neck) but I've done those before. I just want to know if it looks okay.

    17. Yes I bought a full doll directly from Bimong in ns and the elfdoll body in oriental skin. It's taken me about 7 months to complete - not down to either company as they are remarkably quick as both items were 'in-stock', but just to have the funds to finance her . it's been worth the wait tbh !

    18. @samson - your Nari is absolutely charming!!! What a lovely face!

I need to get going on some new outfits for my Soyu gals too - spring is always inspiring.
The DT Elf body is SUCH fun to sew for!! and so nice to handle and pose too!

    19. Thank you, I must admit I do love her a lot ! And the body, it has exceeded my expectations !

    20. Hello! I'm very sorry for asking this. Maybe is me but i cant find the thread self searching button there was before in the forum, so it's hard to find an answer.

I would like to know if it's possible to put a MSD size head in this beautiful bodies, and if it fits at all... have someone tried before?

      thank you very much y w y
