Resurrecting this old thread in the hopes that someone was successfully able to purchase Dorothy. I sent many emails and even tried the Q&A on their site and never got a response. I would love to order but never could figure out how. She also has never turned up on the marketplace and I'm just curious if she was ever released at all.
I still love Dorothy too, but never had any success finding her to purchase. There is someone in the MP trying to sell a Dollti Ahz, I suppose we could ask her how she managed to purchase a Dollti.
I too have sent multiple emails to them, and no response, so I quit--I will not beg a company to take my money, there are plenty of other dolls out there! Too bad, they probably could have sold quite a few of them.
I want to see them, does anybody know how to sign up for this place? It asks me at one point to put in my passport number, but I'm not too comfortable doing that. Can anybody help me? Thanks and it would be nice if you PMed me, not to be a hassle, this is just a plea because I would really like one ^^; Thank you!
I would also really love one! If I find out how to get a hold of these people I will PM you, OliviaJ. Also I'll see about signing up and PM you about that, too if I'm successful. Such a disappointment that after all these years not a single soul has spoken up about having a Dorothy! Which just leads me to believe she was never released.. *sigh* But there's always hope isn't there
I know this in an old thread, but I wanted to bump it up. I'm very curious about this doll. Does anyone have a picture of what she looks like? Also, I know that DollTi is no longer in business, but does anyone know if they maybe sold their molds to another company? I have fallen in love with the Tinman, but if not, I pretty much have no hope of ever getting one.
Hi, Mimi*Fee I have definitely seen owner pictures of the Tinman many times. He's out there and you may have to search but I'm certain you'll find one eventually! There is always hope I have heard nothing more about Dollti and whether their molds were sold to anyone else. I'll keep a look out though as I am still desperately wishing for a Dorothy. I was able to find one stock photo of her which I will link you to: http://doll-gazette.blogspot.com/2009/07/dollti-le-magicien-doz.html It's not the best shot of her but there she is in the middle. They had body shots when the site was still up and she had such wonderful posability! On par with Pukis I believe. I will always search for her..
Thank you Mitya! Yes, I have seen plenty of owner pictures of the Tinman too, I just had never seen Dorothy. If you find any more pictures, please do let me know. You are right that that one is not the best. I would love to see pictures of the body! I will keep searching for a Tinman. I hope you are right that I will find one!
