Dolly Cross-Dressing

Sep 11, 2007

    1. I guess, perhaps I don't see the attraction for m/m because I'm personally not attracted to that many men?

Rico is fabulous, I really love the suit she's wearing in the picture on this thread. Where did you find it? My 17th century frog prince is moaning at me to get him something just like that!

    2. It's the Silver Prince outfit from Dollzone. :) Thanks for the compliments again. :aheartbea

    3. I actually kind of support the cross-dressing doll thing.
To me, if the character cross-dresses, let the doll, by golly, cross-dress. It's the personality of the character, and that's the way it should be.

    4. a] is it unethical/wrong to picture "underage" (that means 21 for me) dolls cross-dressing?
Why should age have anything to do with it? Once upon a time, a woman wasn't allowed to wear trousers legally, or without being called a lesbian, and other such things, yet now real women and (of course) dolls are wearing pants all the time, more often than skirts! Now, to be frank, I think that small children cross-dressing should not be encouraged for their own safety, BUT. These are dolls. These are not real people, if a "small child" doll is wearing a dress, then so be it. They are "big-kid" toys, so-to-speak, and they are subject to the whims of our imagination.

b] when cross dressing how far does one go? Does one leave it to feminine clothing/face-up? or does one go all the way?
That's personal for each cross dressing doll owner. When I finally get Jared, he will have a pretty plain/average guy face-up, nothing too feminine. He will have lots of clothes, both male and female clothes... because he's a night-time queen. He goes out in drag by night, and works as an accountant by day. Now, if you're talking a transgendered character, then I would likely get the doll a very feminine face-up as well as nothing BUT obviously female-clothing, etc etc. It depends on the character, really.

c] Is it wrong to post pictures of your cross-dressers?
Why should it be? As long as it follows the rules of wherever you are posting, there is absolutely nothing wrong with posting pictures of your dolls!

    5. While I'm personally not fond of it & can't see real reason for it, it doesn't bother me. It has been getting a bit overdone of late & I must admit that I'm tired of people complaining that their dolls are a boy when they're dressed as a female. Most folks are simply going to make that assumption so if you want your doll to be recognised as a boy, then dress him that way.

It's certainly not wrong to do it as your doll is your's to do as you like & if you want to post pics of it, again that's your right.

I will say again, it's getting a bit old & I'm anxiously awaiting some new, more inovative trend to come around.

    6. You should enjoy and have fun with your doll/dolls. Personally I always cross dress my male dolls. No one picks him up, hikes up his skirt, and pulls down his pretty panties to check:?. So, I have a secret bond with my male doll  I dress him as a girl most all the time .Sometimes as a maid, as a schoolgirl, or in a pretty girly party dress, When he does get dressed as a male a bra, panties, stockings,:doh must be worn. Also (for humiliation purposes:o) pink panties must be exposed:fangirl:) and heels are a requirement.;)
Believe me, it is typical for a closet cross-dresser to do all the above so why not use your favorite :aheartbea male doll and have fun dress-up time with him:D

    7. a] is it unethical/wrong to picture "underage" (that means 21 for me) dolls cross-dressing?
I think if it was in a way like, "Hey look at THIS piece of cross-dressing jail bait!" then yeah, I'd say a line has been crossed somewhere. XD Other wise, it seems like it should be fine.

b] when cross dressing how far does one go? Does one leave it to feminine clothing/face-up? or does one go all the way?
See now, this question confused me. If you say "cross dressing," that means that despite what clothes he is wearing, (or what kind of "make up" he has on,) underneath it all he's still a he. So when you say "go all the way," are you talking about buying a male doll, and modding it to the point where he is now a she?

c] Is it wrong to post pictures of your cross-dressers?
Shouldn't be. If someone gets all offended that a "boy doll," is wearing a dress/skirt, just claim that "she" is simply really flat chested. XD

    8. a] is it unethical/wrong to picture "underage" (that means 21 for me) dolls cross-dressing?
I don't see how it could be unethical... they're just clothes.

b] when cross dressing how far does one go? Does one leave it to feminine clothing/face-up? or does one go all the way?
I personally don't cross dress my dolls, but I don't think it matters how far someone takes it. It's their doll.

c] Is it wrong to post pictures of your cross-dressers?
Why would it be wrong?? :huh?:

    9. a] is it unethical/wrong to picture "underage" (that means 21 for me) dolls cross-dressing?

no, when my father was a little kid, his grandma would make him dress up like a girl, I dont see whats wrong with it, just as long as they look good in it then fine.

b] when cross dressing how far does one go? Does one leave it to feminine clothing/face-up? or does one go all the way?

my boy has not arrived yet, but I will put him in a dress >:3
he has the default AS faceup, when he crossdresses, he'll probably just wear a dress, but I wont go all the way, I still want him a boy, and I make him wear girl clothing because I dont want to buy a female MSD.

c] Is it wrong to post pictures of your cross-dressers?

not at all, unless there are those who are probably homophobic and got the wrong idea, but we could just explain to them.

    10. a] is it unethical/wrong to picture "underage" (that means 21 for me) dolls cross-dressing?

First of all... have you ever seen the anime Fruits Basket? I have a doll based on Momiji, he definitely likes skirts. Secondly... I'm a high school art teacher, also advise Drama Club. I would support any student that chose to cross-dress, so why not dolls?

b] when cross dressing how far does one go? Does one leave it to feminine clothing/face-up? or does one go all the way?

It depends on the doll. Momiji likes skirts and pretty things. He has a sun dress that is his favorite outfit. But he doesn't have girly make up or anything like that. For other dolls, they might go farther.

c] Is it wrong to post pictures of your cross-dressers?

Is it wrong to post pictures of glbt dolls? Of course it isn't wrong.

    11. a] is it unethical/wrong to picture "underage" (that means 21 for me) dolls cross-dressing?
People of all ages crossdress for various reasons and I don't think there is anything wrong with that, thusly I see nothing wrong with doing so with dolls.

b] when cross dressing how far does one go? Does one leave it to feminine clothing/face-up? or does one go all the way?
I would say that is personal preference.

c] Is it wrong to post pictures of your cross-dressers?
No but if you are concerned about people who are uncomfortable with such contents label it with warning. No one is being exploited etc (assumably) and so I don't see why there should be an issue with it.

    12. I have become so accustomed to crossdressing lately that it doesn't even phase me. I frequent the local gay bars, attend Rocky Horror Picture show atleast once a month and my girlfriend is dragking so it really isn't a big deal to me. In fact I took my Nagi out to the local Walmart with me and he was wearing a new dress I made him. When a lady asked me about him and I slipped up and called him male and the lady gave me the weirdest look. I was confused for a bit and then it hit me and that not everyone is a comfortable with crossdressing as I am.

    13. a) is it unethical/wrong to picture "underage" (that means 21 for me) dolls cross-dressing?
I don't think it is unethical at all. People of all ages cross-dress, so to me it is not offensive to depict a doll cross-dressing, either.

      b) when cross dressing how far does one go? Does one leave it to feminine clothing/face-up? or does one go all the way?
I think it depends on the doll's character and/or personal preference.

      c) Is it wrong to post pictures of your cross-dressers?
I don't think so. I would probably enjoy looking at them, actually.

    14. a] is it unethical/wrong to picture "underage" (that means 21 for me) dolls cross-dressing?

not at all. im not sure why there's even a thread about these because they're just dolls....there are children out there that feel they were born in the wrong body and do cross dress. i feel its a bit sexist that girls can were pants but you have a little boy who want to were a dress you couldn't put him in school... but i do understand that it causes people distress because most people are raised to follow the gender roles to a point...

i sorry if i offend someone but i think most of the bjd boys out there look girly to me anyway... so it doesn't seem a big deal unless the person is taking sexual pics... now thats creepy and not cool.

b] when cross dressing how far does one go? Does one leave it to feminine clothing/face-up? or does one go all the way?

alot of the faceups look girly to me..... it doesn't matter really its all on what the person like on they're doll.

c] Is it wrong to post pictures of your cross-dressers?

      nope

    15. is it unethical/wrong to picture "underage" (that means 21 for me) dolls cross-dressing?
I really don't think this is an age issue. For example, being underaged in my country is being under the age of 18. You yourself have an idea in your head about what age your doll should be and what is accepted when it comes to that. To me it's kind of like stating that all MSD's should be pictured as kids.
And like many others said before, it's 2009. Things have changed. Even in human fashion woman are dressed "masculine".

when cross dressing how far does one go? Does one leave it to feminine clothing/face-up? or does one go all the way?
I have a crossdresser in my crew and he could be mistaken for a girl pretty easily. But to me that was the whole point, since he's an original char of mine :) He has a very femmy face up and wears skirts and pink and girly hairstyles. I suppose it's up to the person to decide on that.
What's your limit? That is the question I suppose.

Is it wrong to post pictures of your cross-dressers?
Absolutely not. Not posting/or allowing to post would be disciminating in my eyes. And if somebody doesn't like it, he/she should turn his head away. Just like in real life.

    16. My only crossdresser right now is my Beryl, Miss Evie Bellequa~:aheartbea All of her clothes are SD-13 boy's clothes that were a good fit already or I've modded slightly to fit [Soom boobs = dooooom!]. I also have plans for one other crossdresser lady doll [as well as one boy too]. But hee, hee, I think it's very pretty when girls crossdress~~:aheartbea

Even though she may not look too "manly", she's certainly not as feminine or like a "sexy succubus" like many other Beryls...I hope you like my dear Miss Bell and her gentlemanly style~:cake:

    17. a] is it unethical/wrong to picture "underage" (that means 21 for me) dolls cross-dressing? nope, is it wrong or unethical for an underage human to crossdress? not at all, kids do it all the time, I did when I was a kid, I do now.

b] when cross dressing how far does one go? Does one leave it to feminine clothing/face-up? or does one go all the way? what is all the way? cross dressing is dressing as the opposite gender, anything beyond that becomes transexualism (ie when thereare changes to the physical makeup of the body) In either case no, it is not wrong, on the same note I say is it wrong for people to cross dress, is there a limit to how far it goes, and is it wrong for people to have sex changes? (ok yes going a bit far there but I guess you see my point)

c] Is it wrong to post pictures of your cross-dressers?
no, why would it be? If people are offended they can choose not to look. There was even a period where it was a very popular series on the gallery to post your guys in the frilliest dresses possible. Nothing wrong with it.

However I havea few question people may want to consider:

when a male wears a dress at what point is he cross dressing? is it when he intends to look female? or is it when he puts on clothing that is traditionally female with no intention to look female? I have a doll that is male and wears dresses, but he is NOT attempting to appear or imitate females. To me he is not a cross dresser, he is just a boy in a dress.

does a woman become a cross dresser by wearing male clothes? or only if she is trying to pass for male? should all of you out there with female dolls who wear sneakers, jeans and shirts consider your girls as cross dressers? does the fact they still tend to have obvious boobs make them NOT? (and by the same note does that mean if a man in a dress obviously does not have boobs is he still cross dressing?)

and then what about transgenderism? I know there are people on here with hermaphrodite and transgender dolls, and I know thereare people on here who are transgender. If a preop transgender wears clothing of the gender they are in their heart are they crossdressing since it is opposed to their genetic gender? Is a female to male doll cross dressing to wear male clothes (as in the body is modded, not the transgender character. In the past it was popular to mod female bodies to be male for "skinny" or small boys)?

I guess what I am saying is this is not even a moral question really, but a question of gender and fashion lines and definitions. In my opinion the lines are so blurred now days that it is really irrelevant.

    18. I'm one of those people that thinks there is no such thing as cross-dressing. Dolls and people are free to wear whatever they like. If some one has an issue with it then too bad for them.

    19. a] is it unethical/wrong to picture "underage" (that means 21 for me) dolls cross-dressing?

I don't think it's unethical or wrong for "underage" dolls to be shown cross-dressing. Human boys sometimes wear skirts or put on nail polish and I don't think of those things as being bad or damaging - to themselves or to society.

when cross dressing how far does one go? Does one leave it to feminine clothing/face-up? or does one go all the way?

How does one go "all the way?" I have a boy I'm about to give a lighter face-up to and put in dresses. I could get him a girl body but I prefer the boy's totally flat chest for my girl. You can't get much more "all the way" than clothing/face-up in my opinion.

c] Is it wrong to post pictures of your cross-dressers?

Absolutely not! I plan to post pictures of mine - but I doubt anyone will even know he's cross-dressing. They'll probably just think he's a girl. ;)

    20. a] is it unethical/wrong to picture "underage" (that means 21 for me) dolls cross-dressing?
It isn't wrong but I find it weird usually (sometimes it suits the doll though, like it does for Mana). If I want a doll to wear something that's a girls outfit, I don't see why you'd put it on something other than a girl doll since the body's shape is generally more suited to that fashion.

b] when cross dressing how far does one go? Does one leave it to feminine clothing/face-up? or does one go all the way?
I don't do it myself but the ones I have seen are usually just a boy in a a girl's dress, but these dolls have a predisposition for already having androgynous faces with pretty eyelashes and long hair so not much more effort than that is needed.

c] Is it wrong to post pictures of your cross-dressers?
The crossdressing wouldn't normally be the issue with the photograph if it is deemed unethical or not allowed here for being above PG-13. Maybe if it was one of those really masculine dolls at iplehouse in a girly belly dancing outfit, but even then that's just me being disturbed.
