Dollzone 60cm Girls Discussion

I really like Moying as well, she's gorgeous..she would make an adorable boy ^^ I'm not really liking the body though, it's much to..how to say it..flat, I guess. I don't mean the boobies-those are there alright-but she got no curves or whatever..More like a boy's body with boobs slapped on it XD

 

Finally a 60cm doll from Dollzone!

Oh my gosh, I so want a Moying right now. Everyone is right she would really look good a boy. I don't like the mold of the female chests. Their breast look a bit "fake" and top heavy. Maybe if the hips were wider that would balance things out a bit visually. I love the hands though, they look less bulky than the boy's.

I also just L-O-V-E the new boy's head. This has to be the best male head sculpt Dollzone has done.

 

Linlan. I'm breaking down and getting my first girl. Though ARGH now they had to go and release that gorgeous new boy head?? AUGH! O_O

 

Well, as I said, I was in trouble. I fell in love with Auland immediately and just few minutes ago I purchased her (well, him).

I've heard so much positive feedback about Dollzone dolls and she/he's just too perfect to be my Inori. And her/his body is perfect, 'cause I'm going to mod Auland to be a boy.
( And my typing is horrible, but let's say that I'm too anxious and hyper now)
If someone is interested in that X-mas head, I'm quite willing to sell it. Just PM me.

 

That girl body is... just... *perfect*. It seems to have both grace and character.

I love Linlan and Shengxi also...

And that boy head is quite gorgeous as well...

Oh~ and I thought I'd never want another one. Oh, well.

 

The body will be a matter of dressing her properly. That black outfit shown is no good, as it draws the eyes right to how tiny the hips are. The outfit the first doll is wearing does work on the body, however, because the attention is up at the chest.

So if you're getting the DZ girl, I'd definately avoid clothes that emphasize her hips and go for clothes that accenuate her chest and face.

*Is absolutely torn between Moying and Linlan, but thinks Moying will win because she's going to be a friend for my Chiwoo, and their faces are more compatible*

 

Yes, corsets that takes advantage of that slimness and large bust, combined with fluffy skirts that hide the small hips would be my suggestion. At the moment I'm tweaking patterns to fit the measurements given. I'm very excited now, as this is to be my very first girl, and she's such a new and fresh doll

 

I like moying (it means cherry! so cute!) I want to see some pics of her soon, because she looks really nice. I am not too fond of the body, too big of chest with too small of hips >>;

 

I swear I posted before! Anyways, a summary of what I'd said...

Moying and Aolanduo are gorgeous! Moying reminds me a lot of School C too, and the faceup in the pictures is gorgeous.

I find it kind of odd that Moying and Aolanduo little resemblance to the rest of the DZ family, though. Their face shapes are completely different.

good im glad im not the only one who thought moying looked ALOT like a school c..... She also has little resemblance to any of the other dolls on their site. Maybe she was a diffrent sculptor?

 

They still all have the characteristic "Dollzone lips" from what I can see in the picture. Dollzone lips are wider and deeper than those of most other dolls, with kind of a beaky dip in the middle.

 

I just heard someone else saying she looked a lot like Ryu... and the first time I saw her I thought she looked like an HD Dorothy. ^_^; Maybe they just hit on some shape (the browline/eyes?) that a lot of people find attractive?

 

I just had the weirdest dream that the only way to get these new girls was to get them as prizes in fast food, like toys in a kids meal.

And that the clerks at the store wouldn't give me the doll I wanted because you could only get certain dolls each week.

I'm also noticing it's funny that Linlan looks like an SD version of my Rose of Sharon, who is my modded Dollzone Mo. So Linlan is basically an upscaled Mo with different eyes, and flatter cheeks. Even the kind of odd forhead shape seems the same, if that's her in the body pictures. Which means, for those of you considering getting her, she's not going to look good in most wigs with bangs. Notice how the wigs she's shown in the the default photos all have bangless wigs, as well. Just a heads up.

 

Woo. I'm so getting a moying- I adore the facemold, and I think I'll put her on my model doll body! apparently the resin matches pretty well.. Dunno what i'm going to do with the extra head, body and my old model doll head XDDD I'll think of something.

 

I want one! If I buy one this month to get the free head then I'm going to have to buy another body, too! The problem is it's Christmas and I have at least 20 gifts to buy!

I guess none of them would like to donate their gift towards a doll for me!

Yeah, they could definitely be siblings! I've never quite liked school c though, and I love Moying... not sure why, think it's the wider eyes. Still very dramatic, but not so pensive/displeased looking. And the longer chin seems very feminine to me~

Ditto~ here I was doing my best to resist another elf bambicrony, and then DZ has to release all these girls!! Cruuuel~

 

From the sizes of the doll's proportions, does anyone know if they could fit SD, SD13, or Luts sized clothing? I'm rubbish when it comes to figuring this stuff out from measurements! :P Oh, and my husband just bought his first doll, Moying, or Cherry as the EBay auction calls her for some reason, lol! Anyway, he's really excited (and so am I, a new doll in the house, YAY!), and I want to get her an outfit for his Christmas present.

 

I did a body comparison with some popular dolls. Her body is not all that different. (all measurements are in cm) For instance, Dollzone waist is 17. Lishe is 17.5 and Elfdoll is 19. Dollzone hips are 26. Lishe is 26.5 and Elfdoll is 26. The bust size on Dollzone is 26 and small busted Elfdoll is 24 and large bust is 25. Not sure about Lishe. The foot on the other hand is huge. Dollzone is 7.5. Lishe is 6.7 and Elf is 7.2. Her foot is bigger than a Rainy girl. Yikes!

 

so basically she should fit in elfdoll clothes? so are we doing this group order thing? I've never done one before so I don't exactly know how... XD
