    4. Only his eyes and wig.. but it made really a difference. If his body starts to irritate me again he will get a new one.. he has still this torso-thing going on *sigh* I will try it with restringing. Lets hope it works ^^;;.

    5. Can anyone explaine how to get shoulder pieces and red cloak pieces on doll?and is the spear one complete pike./or is there other pieces to it?Did you have to glue helmet pieces together?I'm trying to get details as my Asurameru is in customs and I hope to see him next week!

    6. The shoulder pieces and cloak have small little hooks on them. There's six(?) in all, three for the right side, and three for the left. Hook the three for the right on under the shoulder pauldron and then the left, or whichever order you like, really.

      As for the pike, it's like three pieces for me XD. There's the head, the shaft, then the bottom piece (which needs to be glued to the shaft).

      Congrats on him being there soon! Sure beats june, that's for sure :)

Yeah, the spear bottom part fits snugly on either the short or long pole (you get both with him, mine was on the short pole by default and stuck so tight I thought it was meant to be that way, so was confused how to attach everything together... but it did pull off when I got advice asking in the waiting room). The spear head doesn't fit so well, you could also use something more temporary if you don't want to glue it... but I think the short pole is way too short, the scale looks really odd, so it wouldn't be bad to glue it onto the big pole.

      The shoulder pieces are a bit complex, when attaching them to the outfit after getting the cape part onto them (and I bent the silver hooks over the catches on the cape once they were in, or the darn things kept coming off... just be careful if you do that, that you don't push so hard the hooks break out of the glue they're in). Honestly I think it was a kinda crappy fast design job, because you basically have to have the wings on for the finished look to work. You pull the white elastic that is on the bottom of the resin spike things, through the hole in the top of the resin shoulder piece, and use the little silver hook on the white elastic to attach the completed armor section to the black elastic strap on the wings where it goes over his shirt/outfit. (As a side note, I use black twist ties once the wings are on, to tighten up all that extra elastic and hide it behind his back.) You can also hook the shoulder piece hook (the one on the white elastic) onto the gold ribbon thing on his shirt, right by where it goes into the top seam. Or, add a small stitch of black thread somewhere around there for the hook to catch on.

      I dunno about anyone else, but I raaarely use those wings, and only for photo shoots. For one thing, even after cleaning them with paper towels a few times, they still get black stuff on my fingers... and then I am at risk of getting that stuff on the doll. =/

      In other news, I made Asura in WoW. Bunneh ears FTW! :lol: Sadly, the game has managed to break itself with today's mini-patch, still waiting on help at the tech forums.

OMG this sounds like a nightmare of poor design I wish you had made a video section on how to do all this and DZshould payyou for it.This really does sound like a cheap job.What order do you reccomend putting his armor on?Is the gauntlets attached wuth hooks also and is the mailed hand attached to doll or do you have attach it yourself ?I dont lookforward to that sinceim not good with that skill/but other than Armor Is everyone happy with the boy?

    9. I lol'd when I saw the Wow thing, Tirsden XD. He looks much too serious for bunny ears!

      And a video is actually a great idea, Empress. As for the other armor, it's really your own preference as to what order it all goes on. The gauntlets just tie on with string through the holes in the leather part, and the mail hand has to actually be changed out for the regular one. To attatch it, pull the normal hand away from the forearm and unhook it, but BE CAREFUL and stick a crochet hook or pencil or something through the elastic loop. If you don't, the elastic will slide up the arm and you wont be able to reach it unless you take him partially apart. When you have the normal hand off, put the black ball piece on the arm, then hook the hand onto the hook, just like you took the other hand off. It takes some practice, but eventually you'll get the hang of it!

    10. Empress, if you have help for changing the hand, that's also good... I've about killed my fingers twice, once putting it on, and once taking it back off again. ^^;; He's notorious for arriving very tightly strung. Video... hmmm. My webcam is a bit unpredictable with lighting changes and focus. Plus, I honestly don't look forward to putting Asura in his fullset due to the complexity, but if I get to it this weekend, I'll give it a shot. My back is begging me for rest just after shooting Michael/Aiden and Asura a bit tonight. ^^;; Darn human body, getting in the way of my resin hobby. xP

      And yes, he really does look too serious for bunny ears. And is still wearing them. :lol: The actual doll is now wearing something different, Michael's clothes. ^_^ Another good look at Asura in casual clothing is posted on DA here (closeup) and here.

Well he has arrived and he had a difficult journey and almost 2 week delay in customs and Ive had to work doubles back to back and my neighbor signed for him and then had family emergency and was gone this week so I just have him and Im amazed at the complexity of the his accessories I opened box counted fingers and toes and then closed boxup.There is a giant second box with his attachments that have intimaded me.HIS BOXES WERE OPENED IN CUSTOMS and has been checked for some reason so I was lucky enough to have his mailed hand on doll and its intact. The rest of his stuff looks amazing and I will try to get him out of box this next week when i have day off.Our doll group has meetup on 14th and I will take him and maybe get some help with his normal hand.

Tirsden, you are so talented!I enjoyed the bunnyears and the stamp you created not to mention your all the help and advise you have given to me.I wish I was good with camera as I havent been very good at uploading photos of my dolls but maybe wecan get some of our ladies to upload some for me at the meetup on saturday.Poor Ash dosent have any clothes yet so he will have to be in his default outfit until I can figure out his style.

    18. Karl has been really smirky-impish lately and I have no idea why. O.o I think he's ignoring Asura either way. XD And I have no idea what timeline they are on anymore, considering Asura is still technically "off trying to figure out what's wrong with the multiverse" according to the Luciole/Asura letter series. Basically I'm counting anything that conflicts with that as OOC or in the future.

I think Karl is plotting to take over and is happy he is the king even for a brief time and wants to star in his own comic.My Ash has been expermenting with different looks but remains in kimono mostly.I did add long silver wig and magenta eyes.I have noted a set of Angelstudio armor for 70cm general that I think might work better than theDz for him.I just have to saveup and find dealer of AS closer to home than thinkpink or AS.

      Ah nice, yeah I ordered from AS and fyi you shouldn't get hit with much of a customs charge if you're in a country that doesn't exempt dolls. ;) It took about a month before the AS robes shipped, for reference on special edition clothing.

      Asura should be "coming back home" fairly shortly in the dollyverse plotline, which will be handy for keeping events straight. XD
