The dolly gods are evil. Merlin has been on my bucket list and now I see he's being discontinued .I've been looking at ordering him next week . Just wondering if anyone here had one, what company face up was like and what the fullset is like before I order him?

 

I believe @Gathephaar has a Merlin, though not sure if he has a company face up or not.

 

They're discontinuing a lot of dolls at once D: I've been eyeing Merlin, but I think I like NightHawk's sculpt a little better and he seems to be safe for now. This is really making me have to think about my doll plans, and all the 11.11. events aren't helping

i saw that DDE had a blank Licht full doll in stock, and I was naughty and bought him I was really disappointed to see I'd missed his discontinuation during my dolly hiatus and he wasn't exactly popular so I didn't want to miss my chance. my first resin purchase in like 4 years wow

i've heard that the B70-004 isn't the most stable stander, is that true? I don't mind awfully, I also have a DT18 boy and girl and they both take some ~effort~ (tho they're too lovely for me to mind much) but it would be good to know what I'm up against lol. Would also be handy to know what 'size category' that body is... looks broader than the Slim 70cm boys right?

 

Congratulations on getting a Licht @Lirin - he's gorgeous. Sadly I can't help with the details on the b70-004 as I only have the b70-003. I'd say a stable pair of shoes with ankle support might help, judging by what Azrael needs, but I figure sueding and/or tightening his elastic might help a bit. Also going out on a limb and saying that the body will likely be broader than the slimmer 70 cm guys, as it is Azrael's shoulders don't always fit into shirts (I've found Iplehouse SID stuff works well, but will be a little short).

Idk where you heard that the B70-004 isn't the most stable stander, mine is very solid. Aside from his joints being a bit creaky, his posing is fantastic. I also have a DT18 girl (old knees) and she's an absolute nightmare compared to the B70-004. Hiro's strung much more tightly than my big LoongSoul boys, but only because I've never bothered to restring him

I've got mine dressed in regular SD+ (70cm) size jeans (these ones, I believe) and a stretchy 70cm size shirt (this one). The body is barrel chested, slimmer hips/butt/thighs than my big LS boys but shirts are a bit tighter. SID shirts should be fine, and/or shirts made of stretchy material. Shoes with a listed inner length of 8.5cm fit really well
Both the shirt and jeans he's wearing here are 70cm/SD+ size

 

my licht is here already! i'm about half way through his faceup, though i'm very out of practice :s. I took a pic of him with my dollshe guys though unfortunately my lighting is terrible. Scale looks good together, at least!

I’m so excited to join this thread. I just bought a dollzone Mandrake in green resin second hand. I was about to order a dollzone doll from Alice collection but then I got lucky and found a beautiful boy for sale in green limited resin. So I was able to saved myself the LONG waiting time. God willing I will get him before Thanksgiving Day

Does somebody here has a Mandrake? I been trying to find owner pictures but I only have found a few. I will be very grateful if you share your Mandrake with me

Baby Liir is home. DZ Mandrake in limited green resin made in 2021. He is so CUTE!!! He was brand new he even came with the whole shipping box, DZ box, COA, DZ booklet, and unopened pair of glass eyes DZ send. It was like opening a brand new doll from the company!!!! I cannot believe I was so lucky to find him.
