Yeah, I'd come back for Gray, too! He's a very tempting boy! And, now that you mention it, I'm also surprised that Dollzone didn't discontinue him when they discontinued Snow. You are probably right to be a little concerned that Gray could be next on the chopping block. I wish you oodles of good luck in ordering him!

(N.I.C.E. that you have a DZ Yuu from 2008! Yuu is one of my absolute favorite Dollzone sculpts. )

Yeah, he's my old banana but I love him.

 

Gray is such a lovely sculpt, my wife has 2 Snow heads at home.

I still have my DZ Chen from 2011, but she got a new body back in 2020 and is a girl now XD

 

@IzabethS I used to have a couple of their MSD sculpts. Actually Dollzone Hid was my first BJD. After that I got Yuu, Lotus, and Floy. Unfortunately all but Yuu have gone to new homes.

 

Hi!! I love the dollzone NB58-002 body and i would love to know whether it can be combined with a feeple 60 head. I have the Scarlett head. Does anyone here know? thank you!

Actually, I didn't know Dollzone even offered green resin. Are his seams sanded?

 

They usually don’t offer green resin. They had an event where they offer green resin for a limited time

Dollzone seams are always sanded. The resin feels like baby skin because is super smooth

 

Hello! A newbie here, but I have just ordered Gray [peach skin color, blank body, with face-up] from Alice's Collections. It is my first doll and it's so hard to prepare for such a lenghty wait... Its sculpt and body were speaking volumes to me upon first sight, then I hunted for YT reviews and Instagram posts. I seem to really enjoy DZ sculpts over others companies I've been eyeing for a while, not sure what their secret to my aesthetic is

But aside from Gray, I'm so in love with Snow head sculpt. I've seen that it is available for sale on LegendDoll, but there are not many reviews on that dealer here, and Snow is no longer offered on DollZone site or on ACBJD. Not sure if I should buy from LegendDoll then?

 

Drop them an email asking if it's available for order. There's no point in getting into pay-refund hassle.

 

Just like @Mysha recommended, email or post on LegendDoll a comment to see if he's still available for purchase. He was discontinued last year sadly...

 

I've purchased multiple items (wigs, clothes & resin) from Legend Doll over the years. I've found them to be very good and on the few times where I had a question they usually responded within 24 hours.

I have seen a Snow head a few times in the MP here on DoA so it's possible that whenever you get MP access you can start your hunt there if you haven't managed to buy one before then. You could also post a WTB for the head to help your search along. It will take patience and persistence to find a discontinued sculpt but it can certainly be done.

Probably close to 1/2 of my collection (I currently own 74 dolls) are pre-loved and many of them are limited (either by sale period or how many were produced) or discontinued and a good portion are from companies that no longer exist. It took me 7 years to acquire my 2 grails. I have an Impl Miguel The Demon Hunter in grey (he was limited to 100) and a Unidoll Ark in WS (Unidoll closed years ago and he wasn't an overly popular sculpt because he's the angriest doll ever). I had a surprise acquisition last year of a Sugarable Genie (LE 50) and Sugarable closed years ago, too.

 

I recently sold my SD Hujoo Azela bjd. So Baby Liir inherited her eyes. I will try to take better pictures of him tomorrow but he looks magnificent with his new eyes

i like how different he can look depending on your lighting, and i really like the shading on his lips. his new eyes look great!

Thank you for that - I emailed LegendDoll and they’ve contacted DollZone directly to confirm that Snow heads are not available anymore. So I guess I will wait for the access to MarketPlace to get him or will look somewhere else.
