1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Oct 14, 2011

1. Congratulations Alicat On Getting Your Moment Home & He Looks Like A Flame Flower

2. Oooo, dang, Alicat! He's looking amazing! Great job! :cheer He's going to be fantastic when done! Wow!

3. Taking another tentative step towards getting my boy done.
At this rate... this is going to take a year or more! XD
Edited with an updated picture.

You can see it bigger in my Flikr if you click on the pic.

4. I know I already commented on Flickr but I'm a big fan of your Moment :D Especially the charcoal coloured legs... It's a nice contrast with the white.

I finished my Anson! Here's her gallery thread if you'd like to see more ^^

5. Thanks! I followed your footsteps and started a Project log. I'm hoping it will keep me on track as it takes so much energy and patience to work on this guy! I'm starting to look forward to doing my Anson since she's going to be far less complicated - I'm just going to cover her in pretty colors! :sweat

6. Thanks guys!
Aernath, looking good! I love that it has an illustrative quality!

Damasquerade, ohhh, she is so lovely!!!

So, again, crappy quality lighting, as I don't want to move him too much till it is all cured.... but, here is my boy with his Thorn

7. Ooo! Ooo! Oooo! He looks great!! And such a nice pairing with a Renata!
Did you use paint to get that bright red/orange?

8. You courageous people in here who started project journals have given me a little push of bravery. I started one too! Phew! It's a bit scary.

I'm hoping to work a bit more this week as I'll have the house to myself and can spread my little project all over the dinning room table without incurring the wrath of my husband. Hehe. ^_~
(He's actually really very relaxed about it all, I just feel guilty leaving projects all over the house…looks at remains of project on the computer desk. Shhhhh!)

9. I do that too - I can only ever have one project going at a time, otherwise the clutter spread around just gets to be too much!

10. So Many Beautiful Paint Jobs. I Can't Seem To Think Of A Concept For Hana Shonen. Its Driving Me Crazy. Also Couldn't Find Cute Shorts That Fit His Big Butt So Gave Up & Just Asked A Very Talented Person To Make Him Some. He Just Needs Shoes & Cute Socks. Maybe A Few Accessories To Finish The Look.

Hana Shonen Got Some Panties & Matching Socks, Now To Wait For The Shorts.

11. Haha, I'm pretty bad about it. I actually have a craft room…but it's a HUGE mess right now…so yeah, taking over the table. >.<
But hey, Freyr has color on the outside wing/petals now! ^__^

Hana Shonen looks all sporty in that outfit, somehow. Hehe, maybe it's because of all the soccer news of late…but I can just imagine him on a soccer field!

12. Lady Ravenswood: Freyr Looks Amazing! I Love The Colors You Used For Him.

13. Thank you. ^__^
I'm really happy with him today. I still need to spray him with MSC. I was soooooo tired after I finished this blushing. I almost just went to bed…but it was only 4 p.m. :sweat
Haha, then I had two cups of coffee after dinner to try and stay awake and talk to my husband (who showed up unexpectedly to have dinner before heading off on his work trip) and now…I can't sleep! :doh

14. I can see the soccer look on Hana Shonen too! Cute! Yeah, I think any clothes these guys and gals are going to wear are going to be specially made for them. They're such a different shape from the norm.

WOW. I thought Freyr was going to be black and white - and he looked amazing that way. Now... double WOW! The color really takes it to a whole new level of amazing! Awesome job! And congrats on getting a project journal up! Hopefully it will help keep you motivated as well, and we can all work our way through these daunting projects!

I have the same guilt attacks on projects too. I try to bundle everything up at the end of the day, but things just tend to spill over and there's always a bit of clutter around. I don't feel toooooo bad since my husband has the entire shop out back that looks like the inside was hit by a tornado... but I'm not much better. :sweat And probably only because I have far less space.

15. Ah, when the craft room gets critical my husband just starts referring to it as "the fire hazard". ^_~

I actually considered keeping him in black and white for just a second because I liked the way it looked too…but he was always supposed to be super colorful on the outside. Heh, I'm just super slow at getting to the next step. But I think you are right (again), that the thread will help give me a bit of momentum. I really want to see him all painted! And then I want to make him his clothes! And I want to see him all done! Hehe.

Oh, by the way, my sweeping neighbor is a big, young, muscular Cholo, complete with a bandana on his head. And here I come with pink filters on my mask and a can of tiny spray paint...

16. bah, I thought I answered Aernath yesterday, but apparently my computer ate it! PHHHHT!

eh.... oh yues, I used airbrush acrylics with pearlex over it. I used the transparent type so I can build layer on layer, making it a richer tone. I hope to get some better, outside pictures soon!

Lady Ravenswood, Holy Cow, soooo pretty! just, wow!
gaiboiozz, oh, he's so cute!

17. Thank You Alicat

18. Hana Shonen Got Some Shorts Today. He Is Closer To The Look I Wanted For Him. Just Need Some Accessories & A Paint Job & We Are Good.

19. Yay! One step closer! That's a cute outfit!

20. Hana Shonen's Love Is A Bronze Soom Bunny With Blond, Pink & Blue Hair So With That I Have Decided The Colors I Want For Him. He Is Going To Be Different Shades Of Purple. Now To Figure Out How To Make It Awesome.
