Ah okay, it could be they just swapped out for the pics and it's not really an option. Haven't heard back from them yet, but I'm fine with the hooves anyways. XD

Ah, and got a fersure confirmation on the "deer feets only" from someone who received one recently. Nice to know. ^^

 

I was just coming to answer this for you. Mine arrived today with deer feet only. He would fit on the new body if you wanted to get him normal legs though. He has nice jointing but the hooves make him a little stubborn to pose.

 

Ah I wondered about the posing, but oh well. Yeah I do know it's compatible with the new tiny body which is nice, mine will stay on hooves though. ^_^ Thanks for the info!

 

I would love to see some owner pics of these little loves, especially with faceups I was also hoping human feet parts were an option for these. I don't much care for the hooves they come with but I suppose they could always be switched out for other hooves.

 

I've been hoping for ownerpics too, there's one in the DZ waiting room now at least. I'll be posting mine when they get here, and I'm doing the faceups/blushing myself. Will be my first blushing hooves experience. *slightly nervous* XD

Edit again: Mine is here, pic re-edited since the other one is going elsewhere plus mine has a faceup now. Also, the head circumference is just over 12cm, not 13cm, so 5/6 wigs are way too big (sigh, naturally that's the size I got). Not the first time DZ's measurements have been incorrect. >_>;;

Ah well, have some creepy cute! Shirei is a Shinto shrine spirit who likes quietly watching the living. :3



The kimono is from Dollzone and the pearly white (glow-in-the-dark) eyes are from Ersa Flora. ^_^

 

Here is my new boy from Denver Doll. He has the B faceup. I changed his eyes from blue to light yellow. I will be posting his arrival photos some time this week.

Transposing and adding to some notes on wig sizes from checking for april on her box opening thread:

While the math works out from measuring the deer boy noggin at a 4/5, I tried a Bobobie Elfkin's 4" wig and it was way too small, and an OT doll's 4/5 wig was reeeeally tight (I personally wouldn't keep it on the doll, it was that tight). It looks like a sewn-smaller-inside 5/6 with trimmed bangs is actually the best fit. ^^;; I'm guessing Shirei's wig is now the rough equivalent of a 5" wig.

That's the frustrating thing about a small doll with a non-standard head size, or a small doll head in general. A slight difference in wig circumference in a larger doll is no real biggy, but at tiny size it makes it or breaks it. O.o;;

I find my little deer boy to be my best poser, but he's strung really loose, which I think helps.
