1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Domuya D1-Flexi Perennial Girl Body

Jul 2, 2007

    1. I wonder if they've shut down the site to focus on getting the dolls out? If they're flooded with emails, it takes time to answer them all. A one month wait is common with BJDs unless they state it will be less. I only get annoyed with delays if they've promised them within a set timeframe. AoD said 1 week then took 1 month. Luts said to expect delays and it's almost 5 weeks now. With such a large lot of orders, I didn't expect them to be quick, but considering I was within the first 6 to order, I'd like to know mine is coming soon. Wow, didn't realise it's been 17 days already.

    2. I was within the first 20 orders.

    3. this is defininately a planed server outage, they announced it at the same time they announced they were starting the first few mailouts. they said they were doing 'first come, first serve', but they were also doing batches.

for instance, 1.5days for all early orders with normal skin, flexi or perennial. 1.5days for all early orders with tan skin after that, flexi or perennial. and then 1.5days for white.

i got my shipping notice for my Tan Flexi body, and i was one of the first 20 people who ordered, about three days ago. it's sitting in San Francisco right now, and ought to reach me by Saturday.

    4. I was in the first 50 orders, and while I got my early bird email from them I haven't heard anything else. Is there a way to find out if they received my reply?

    5. i am in group 2 , and i have not heard anything yet from the company.

    6. I'm in group 2, and I still haven't heard anything. I made the purchase 15 days ago. This does worry me a bit, as it is my first resin BJD purchase, and their site said you would hear from them within 5 days. Thank goodness for this discussion, so I know I'm not alone. Sure hope to hear something soon...........Linda

    7. :...( Just sent them a 4th email to tell them I still haven't had my email and I was in the 1st 10 to order. They've probably voided my eligibility for early bird gifts :...(

    8. Odds are, if the email they have is hosted by the same server their website is on, that they won't get any emails for at least the amount of time their website is offline. I'd wait until they were back online and then shoot them another email...

I wouldn't freak out about it. By their own admission, they're behind schedule a little, and are only just now shipping the first 50 orders. Their last sale had about a 1 month turn around on average.

    9. cool, post pics soon.

    10. I'm in Group 2 and also haven't received any email from them yet. I love the pictures posted up so far though. She is reed thin and I wish she had thicker arms, but other than that she is perrrrfect for my lady ^ ^

    11. I want her as a match for my Sabik so she's perfect. He's got roughly the same build. I'm waiting for the Domuya site to reappear, but I guess it won't until after the weekend. It's Sunday morning here. I'd say there won't be any changes or emails until Monday. I love the pictures people have posted of her. I'd really like to see the tanned version though. Do anyone know if the tan goes all the way through?

    12. The scheduled computer maintenance has turned a bit ugly:

      from http://domuya.com/content/view/133/2/lang,en/

"Currently, due to some unforesee circumstances, the upgrade had to start earlier, and we need to take domuya.net offline during the upgrade, in order to maintain data integrity.

We do not have a exact online date for domuya.net yet, but we are targeting to have it back on within 7 days.

During these period, enquiry can still make through the contact us page in domuya.com. Please refrain from writing to any domuya.net mailboxes, as they are offline as well. "

They are still working on filling orders & emailing notifications by hand instead of using an automated system.

I guess I'll continue to breathe instead of holding my breath for my head-email; I'm in the second fifty, and I understand some first-fifty are still waiting.

    13. Yeoch. I guess they are having trouble. -_-

I'd been visiting her website daily and just looking at her smattering of photos. *laugh* I miss it already.

    14. im in the first 50 and my fin hasn't been shipped yet. it doesn't bother me though. it reminds me of the old days when you used to have to wait 2-4 months to get your doll

    15. Oh, gosh. I've been looking all over for 'the person who asked about tan flexis' and here I skipped right over you.

I just got a male, light tan Flexi today. It certainly appears to be tanned all the way through, but I have not sanded it yet. However, Domuya actually removed some of his seams, as I can see sand marks where his seam lines are. They aren't removed completely, but they're small. He's also got some marbling right at the tip of his...... *cough* penis.

The tan is very light. Anyone who owns an Elfdoll girl and an Elfdoll boy, the difference between Light Tan and Normal is similar to the difference between Elfdoll girl skin and Elfdoll boy skin... slight.

    16. If anyone gets a light tan doll would you please post pics?

      Thanks.

    17. Are you just interested in seeing what the tan is like, or more specifically what a tan Fin is like?

    18. I wanna see the tan color! I have not seen what Domuya Tan looks like so post a pic when you can, still waiting for my Fin whenever that will be as I was in the first 50.

    19. I posted a pic of my tan Flexi yesterday. Here. The picture with a flash turned out truer to the Domuya Light Tan than the one without.
