1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Domuya D1-Flexi Perennial Girl Body

Jul 2, 2007

    1. I have sent them two emails and finally got a reply last week. This is what they told me

there will be a bulk shipment going out on the 30th-31st July and it is very likely your order will fall in that batch as I see from the queue.

So we will see what happens...I am a bit scared that the company might be in some kind of troubles.

    2. Interesting. Well, I have seen picture of 2 different Fin's here on DoA, so at least 2 people have received theirs, so the doll does actually exist.

I hope everything works out. I do want to order her, but its scary that its coming up on one month for some people, and thats the time limit for a dispute with paypal.

I just hope everyone gets their dolls, and the people who have not yet ordered get the chance to.

    3. I've just received an email from Domuya:

^____^ I hope she will start her travel tomorrow, and I'm glad to have news from Domuya :P

    4. Australian time is the same as Korean time and its the 2nd of August here already. I haven't received any notice of shipping so I'm a bit dubious as to whether it has happened. Hopefully we will sign on in the next couple of days and the site will be up and running and the order will be marked as shipped. I think you have 45 days to file with paypal, but a little more information from the company would be helpful and stop people worrying. I think seeing a bulk lot of orders go out would also make people feel a bit happier so hopefully that will happen soon.

    5. I got an email from them this morining:

We are ready to ship your order anytime. However, before that, can you please let me know the details on how you want your customized Fin faceup to be? Please send us either pictures or your detailed description in words and we will do the faceup accordingly. At the same time, can you also please send the additional USD$15 for the upgrade of faceup to our paypal address: [email protected]

Thank you very much and have a nice day!

      Best Regards,
      Candy

      Domuya

Great.......Except I sent them the payment and an email with a picture and written discription on the 23rd july ยฌ_ยฌ. I resent the email with face-up info and the paypal transaction info and asked them to check their records

    6. I noticed that the site now says "3rd August night time" as the projected date for having the site back up. So maybe that's a good sign? *crosses fingers*

    7. Well, at least they are getting back to people, and I appreciate the fact that the .com site has updated information now.

*fingers crossed everything works out, and the site is up soon!*

    8. Yeah. Im glad to see that too. Its quite likely that the technical issues keeping the server down kept them from updating the site too. I also believe the original shipping dates of July 30/Aug1 were tied to having their data back online on July 29th. If they expect the site up Aug 3rd, then they should be able to ship within 24 hours of the site being back up
I suspect, in panic, some people already asked for refunds so they will need to do some double checking once they are back online to know which orders to send out.

    9. oo maybe mine will come soon - i haven't gotten any emails or anything. as long as they're back up, i'm happy to wait!

    10. I'm getting a different page now when I try and access their .net site.

It looks like they are making progress! I'm very glad!!!

Edit: how odd, I got a different page twice, and then not again. This is the page I got

    11. Well, I'd like to see them get moving and get the website back up and working. I'm glad I'm in the first lot of people. I know quite a few in the second group are getting fed up with not having heard anything. I haven't asked for a refund, but if it kept going the way it has been, I was planning to.

    12. has anyone gotten thiers yet? i'd really love to see the old type flexi body next to the perennial body

    13. I will take pics of my Iplehouse head on the older Flexibody and compare it to Fin's when she arrives.

    14. Sterling that is a very good sign!

I'm a techno geek by profession so I can feel their pain in the server migration. I've been through it before and there will be many things out of their control during the process. But seeing the small updates and changes and attempts shows that it is being actively worked on. Each date they gave us as their expected up time was probably based on their technology folks estimates and they cant do much about it if the expected up date gets missed. As annoying as that is to us, its a reality in the world of technology.

    15. Selmada, I agree. I know the downtime is frustrating for us, but I'm sure it's just as frustrating for the company. There are a number of people just waiting to order a doll, so they know they're missing out on those sales while the site is down. But here's hoping it all gets worked out soon!

    16. LOL, somebody has a sence of humor there.
well i think it won't be long now... IMO

    17. Yes, my husband is also a techno geek, and he told me pretty much the same thing you just said. At this point, I'm just hoping they might consider extending the August 15th end of sale date.

I am glad to see they are working on the issue though!

    18. Still not up but hopefully soon...

    19. I love their new 'down' message

"The site is currently down for maintenance. Please excuse the dust, and try back later."

The removal of an expected up date/time may or may not be a good sign. I'm still hoping for this weekend. I had a pleasant surprise from luts yesterday, maybe there will be one coming from here soon too.

    20. I'm glad to hear you finally got your luts shipping notice! (I still think their "vacation" is "catch up time")

I also hope the Domuya site is up soon. When I was checking last night, I got several different screens, so I would guess they were working on it at the moment. I bet they took down the one that said the evening on the 3rd, because the 3rd has now come and gone (its the am on the 4th there now).

*Fingers crossed it will be soon*
