My fin arrived today, packed in the same way all the others did
with sadly a "you have to pay tax, we will send you the bill" note from customs(for europeans, domuya had put a value of 50 dollar on the box)

but she is pretty, but I really have to get used to this flexibility, her joints go everywhere except where I want them to go

I tried on three pairs of sd sized boots, they all fit her fine, so I assume most sd sized shoes will fit her

 

My Fin arrived today and turns out they blushed and sanded her body even though i hadn't asked them to.
(yay)
they did mess up the faceup thing but i don't mind to much.
(I had asked to aply my free face-up to fin and return the money i payed. Not to put the face-up on the van head, but they did that anyway :S) i'll be selling the van head and the wigs and eyes i got anyway.
I agree on the packaging, but considering how many dolls they're sending out i can understand why they did it this way.
love the bag she came in, will ask a friend to turn it in to a sleeping bag. (zipper)
I ADORE the new joint on the body, they're awesome. (no more leg caps, yay. not that i used them :P )
the shoulders are a lil bit dider than the old flexi body, but i can manage.
I'm happy they didnt glue in the eyes this time. now the eyes she came with will be removed once the souldoll eyes i ordered arrive.
i'll prob sell those too.
the non model legs are very beautyfull so people who didnt order the model legs, you are in for a treat.
the sculpt of this body is in my biased opinion the most beautyfull on the market today.
you should see the detail on her back...
i'll prob make and post some pictures later, no time now.

in short, those of you who are still doubting if they should buy her or not. DO IT! if you don't you'll regret it. I promis its worth every single dollar spent.

Got an email back from Domuya after trying their sales address--they'll replace my shipping-damaged stuff free of cost! I guess their website contact form isn't working so well. Man, my experience with buying my first doll has been quite the soap opera, hasn't it?

I agree with DBZVelena as far as the body being absolutely lovely goes--I'm actually putting my free Sophie head on on the Perennial body as soon as she gets back from the faceup artist (eee, she went in the mail yesterday!). The ribs are more prominent than I would like--so far, the first reaction of three of the people who have seen her naked is "she looks anorexic"--but other than that the sculpt is exceptionally gorgeous and detailed and she poses like a dream. I'll post pictures once I get her noggin back on.

if you're wondering, the dress she is wearing was made by me using the old flexi for sizes. however the torso is longer. in a dress that isnt a very big problem, but with shirts and such you need to be carefull.

 

I'm so happy to hear such great reviews on Fin, as well as see those wonderful pictures (thanks DBZVelena). I'm very happy I ordered a Fin. My only debate is do I want another. I still have not seen what other brands of heads look like on this body, and I'm a little reluctant to buy a second body if I don't know that it will work on the head I want it for.

Has anyone tried to put other heads on their Fin yet?

 

I'm still hoping to find out if a D.I.M. head can go on the flexi-body, and if so, what color body? Fin is slowly growing on me, and I like Sophie too!

I know that other Domuya heads fit on the body, I'm not sure how boy doll heads would fit, but girl heads seem to fit just fine! As for resin match I am useless but to say that their white skin is VERY white ^^; Not a match to CP BW as CP's is significantly darker.

Ribs go a different direction than that--between level, and going Down from the sternum.

Those lines are very well-defined serratus anterior, if I have it right.

Upon double-checking, I do believe you're right. However, it still gets the automatic reaction from people, though she doesn't look nearly so slim in clothes!

I've got a Sophie head on my Flexi Perennial--she just got back from the faceup artist today. It fits, of course, though I suspect that the head itself is slightly smaller than the Fin head based upon wig fit. I'll take some pictures later, though she doesn't look nearly herself--her eyes still haven't come in yet so she's stuck with eyes far darker than her faceup was meant to compliment.

 

Looking forward to pictures... I may be doing a Sophie head on a Perennial body as well ^_^

 

I've been looking at the DIM heads and I too wonder how they would look on the flexi.
The Fins that I've seen so far (owner pics) look even better than the ones on the Domuya site.

Glad more people are getting their dolls and shipping notices, I live in hope!
