From what several people have said, it sounds like quite a few of the "second fifty" orders will be going out this week, so hopefully you'll be getting a shipping notice before too long.

Although the promotion is over, the Flexi dolls are still available at the regular price, so I guess that the speculation that the line was being discontinued was incorrect

 

i am in the second batch, i ordered 7/4, and i got my shipping notice yesterday!!!!!!!!! yea!!!!

 

Hooray, my Domuya package cleared Customs yesterday morning... could arrive as early as today! It's funny how the few days it takes for EMS can seem almost as long as the two months production time. Of course, I am a bit paranoid about the condition they will arrive in, since a few dolls have already arrived damaged :/

 

Yeah, even though I ordered a Sophie instead of a Fin, I'm a bit worried about my girl's arrival condition! She left customs yesterday, too.

BTW, Lady Brick, I don't know if I've commented on it yet, but your icon makes me laugh every time I see it. It's so true...

 

I'm glad your Sophie shipped! Hopefully our shared Fin, (I'm getting the body, and TheFontBandit is getting her head) will be here soon! It does seem Fin's are taking much longer to arrive then other dolls. My Fin order # was only 3 from your Sophie, and I think it will be another month before I get a shipping notice. After my last order from luts, I've had to learn a lot of patience

I've heard none of the dolls shipping from the sale came in boxes Some they have just been in bags, in the shipper. That makes me pretty nervous!

 

I'm the first order of the 3rd batch. They've already confirmed that my order will not be bumped into the 2nd batch (due to 100 orders and no drops, or no bumping. They didn't confirm either theory) and that I should recieve it early September. SO I'm hopefull I'll hear something soon.

 

Did they ever announce the order numbers that are in the third group? I doubt that I made it, but I was hoping there was a chance!

 

Aww, thanks I think pretty much every doll owner learns this truth at some point.

 

Fin, Zen & Potpourri arrived this afternoon.

Potpourri insisted on having something to wear before having her photo taken. Sophie's things fit the others so it isn't a skin show. I love Fin's hands. She is very elegant.

Potpourri looks a bit like my granddaughter so I want to find her a curly wig in a sandy blond. Loose curls, as Sammie has lost her Shirley Temple curls as she's gotten older.
I also hope to find a wig similar to what Zen currently has in silver white for a character I want to dress. They probably exist I just haven't looked that hard yet.

 

My Fin was protected on her head, hands, feet, and knees with extra padding, in the sleeping bag, and in a shipping box, but the box had extra cardboard laid beneath, and a folded piece of cardboard tucked over her so she couldn't move. It didn't look so pretty as a presentation box, but it really was secure, when I looked at it closely.
And I threw it all away and don't have another box cluttering up the place.

If your doll is actually shipping, it's hard to let go of the fear of *sommmething* going wrong, but I expect that your doll, too, will arrive in beautiful shape.

And yes, the few days of shipping absolutely equal the whole of the waiting for shipping time.

Maybe I'll get them tomorrow. When my regular postman is here, he always leaves the packages for me. Sigh

 

They haven't updated it no. My order # is 3286 so that should give you some idea. I'd say if you're within 75 orders from mine there is a chance...Just my guestimate

 

It's a pity I wasn't in the first three groups, I could use a wig or two. I had to spend time squirreling away money as it was my birthday present to myself. It was right about the time I really started showing, and I was depressed because none of my clothes were fitting. While shopping for new clothes is normally a good thing, most maternity sections aren't particularly... attractive. Pastels don't look good on a girl with my complexion!

With Fin however, her body shape won't change. Since I have about another month to wait for my doll (order #3418) I can make her clothing when I drag out my sewing machine and make Halloween costumes.

All these beautiful girls are giving me tons of inspiration. I love the face, and while I might be having second thoughts about the body (It's so skinny!), the deal was too good to pass up.

 

the first group started at 3157, so that would mean the second 100 (third group?) starts at 3257

 

Slopers sound like a good idea. I'll see if I have a chance to get them sueded this week. Bring your wigs. Potpourri is 6" head (I measured around the head cap-I think that's the right way)
I'm trying to get my excess stuff out of Joseph's room, he's coming off active duty (Marines) this week and will be home on the 17th or 18th with all his stuff.

 

Not necessarily. The freebies only went out with Fin orders, and not all of those orders were Fins. Also, there has been some shuffling between groups--I know if you were right on the border between one group and the next, you likely got a jump to the group above--I was Fin order #51 (3216), and wound up in the first-fifty group with a free faceup (which they didn't tell me about in advance--it surprised the crap out of me when I unwrapped her head!).

 

oops - forgot about that. I was only thinking about in terms of the grouping for sending out the dolls - not the freebies.

 

Fin is on her way. I finally got a shipping notice yesterday. Can't wait till she arrives. Might have to make a sloper for her LOL! Great pics Jcat. Minus the white bib your one cat that was behind Potpourri looks just like my girl.

I was in the second batch of 50 (order 3272). They said the free head that I wanted was no longer in stock so they had me make a list of others. I don't know which they sent. Will be a surprise.
