1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Domuya D1-Flexi Perennial Girl Body

Jul 2, 2007

    1. My Fin was shipped out as well! I have a yahoo address so I was surprised when I received the notice, since so many people have been having problems with their e-mails. I'm order 3418 with a ws blank Fin.

Wow, that is quite a difference in numbers there. I think now that they've gotten the early bird gifts out it might be a little faster. It would make sense, less stuff to pack I guess?

    2. My Fin arrived today!:D She's just lovely but was so flippy floppy i have had to suede her. She's heavy is'nt she? I was'nt expecting that at all, she looks so slender but she's a hefty old thing!

Now for the BIG question (and i have searched for the answer but can't find any definite answers) What size clothes can she wear????????? She has a fat bum and big boobydooos

    3. Has anyone managed to pierce Fin's ears yet? I just started trying to do it but her ears are quite uneven and filled in at the back so there's a fair bit of resin to get through. I'm wondering if it will work ok.

    4. They've shipped my order!! :D Oh joy!

    5. I actually got my Fin in a pair of Dollmore pants. They are a little tight, as they pop open when she sits in them. It works for my girl, but I don't think others would appreciate that happening to them!

    6. I am going to buy my Fin some Dollmore Model Female clothes and l will let everyone know how they fit. She seems to have the model type body so maybe.....but I want a good pair of flat shoes for her to wear and so far I have had no luck in that yet.

    7. My fin came in today.

Were the heel feet that came with the extra legs supposed to be a blank foot, or some pre-molded shoe feet? I was expecting a regular foot I could cram into a shoe, but I got a pair of sandal feet instead. Eerm. I guess one day I could always sand off the "shoe" part.

If only I didn't have to go to work tomorrow and could play dolls all day.

    8. My tan Fin arrived today! :D I was order#3428.

I've posted my first pictures along with my impressions of her up on my LiveJournal (here: http://me-under-glass.livejournal.com/108304.html ). She is a strange size. XD She's wearing my SD13 boy's clothes for now. ^^ They fit pretty well - she has the normal legs, not the model legs, on and the length is perfect for long-leg SD13 boy pants - but her legs are much skinnier. XD She is going to be hard to clothe...

I think I'm going to keep her normal legs on... not going to switch to her model legs. And yes, I got the sandal feet, too, SpottyJane. :) If anyone needs a pair of tan model legs/feet, just ask. ;)

Very Happy, tho. :) Very very Happy.

    9. glassalice-Congratulations!! Your girl is very beautiful :fangirl:
Her skin color is thin and very nice !!! I love it :aheartbea

This is My Fin :) Yes, me too, I'm happy now :dance
      [IMG]
She is very real... Fin looks as if she were alive.:love

    10. Did I miss that Domuya changed the resin colour during the production of Fin???

My Fin was one of the very first. (left on pic) Now I got a 2nd Fin head and this one has a totally different colour. It is much more pink.

    11. It doesn't look like a huge difference, to me? Definitely different, but colour variations between batches is perfectly normal for any doll company. It's almost impossible to match the resin colour every time between batches. Even Volks resin has changed colour numerous times over the years (slightly). Luts resin is a deeper pink than it used to be, and Dollshe tan has gone from a light brown to a darker orangey brown... I think this is pretty normal?

    12. Maybe You can´t see it clearly on my pic, but the first Fin head matches with Volks pureskin which is pretty yellow, the second matches with my Unidoll Jace, a light pink one.

    13. Oooo I forgot to post my Fin here now that she's all done - I did do a bit of sanding/modding.
I've also decided not to use the model legs since she's the perfect height
for my Dollshe boys w/her normal legs.

I think I want to find some normal feet for her though...that crease in her foot
makes her stand back on her heel (she's fine with shoes on I guess, maybe I'm
being anal, but still)...I'm going to see if a Dollshe Afghan foot will work. I am
afraid the skintone won't work though....we'll see...

      Anyways, here she is:

I just love the sculpt of her torso - it's so realistic and lovely!

    14. Random odd question for you lucky Finn owners...does anyone have a male flexi-body on hand and could you tell me if Fin's head fits on it well? I love that she's such a handsome woman, but I think she could be an equally dashing boy. ;) Just a question of fit...

    15. It doesn't fit, I tried. The hole in the bottom of her head is freakishly large, so it just...swallows the neck. :/ I don't know if it could be modified.

    16. Is that the regular Dollmore or the Dollmore model clothing.

I'm also having trouble finding her stuff to wear.
I'm going to Try some Volks SD16 outfits. I also thought the Dollmore Model clothing might work.
I want to put the longer legs on her, but I have never restrung one myself. I got the high-heel feet also, I think that's the feet that came with the longer legs. But I thought we could use the same feet that are on her shorter legs?
Yukon WHERE DID YOU GET THAT DRESS! I love it.
Christy That wig really suits her I love it with her high cheek bones. Did you cut it?

    17. Hello~ :)

Yes, I cut the wig...it's a Dollheart and used to be about waist length. It's
very thick and such a lovely soft texture - perfectly straight! Took a while
to cut though....LOTS of hair! I am happy with the result, thanks!

    18. Argh. >_< Well, that's what I get for jumping the gun instead of waiting for confirmation before ordering a body...guess we'll find out if it CAN be modified. I'd been hopeful because the domuya site says the perennial body is backwards-compatible with their 60 cm heads--I guess I assumed the necks must be of comparable size but maybe there's something I'm missing.

Maybe some moleskin in the underside of the head where it meets the neck, to bulk it out...? Is it the hole for the s-hook that swallows the neck, like the neck is actually INside the head when you try to put it on?

      Thanks, btw, for the report, even if it means I've got some mods or another body purchase ahead of me. -_-;;

    19. Oh you did a wonderful job. It's really hard to cut a wig straight. (goes looking for scissors)

    20. What has helped me with this happening to other heads is using the Luts horsehoe to raise the head higher and so elongates the neck ... others who haven't got the Luts device have made the equivalent using millput/apoxyscuplt or washers :)

All this talk about Finn is making me miss mine :( I sold her a couple of months ago, she was lovely but just did not fit in at all with my current lot.
