Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     3. Finally any update, it has been long time.

      Levi looks cute in the photo. Ok, he (he looks boyish to me) is the last one, which means they'd reduced the Life projects for 1 doll, but there still should be the extra doll? Or?

    4. wait... so... the 6th doll has been completely abandoned, the 5th doll has become the one that those of us on the subscription already paid for.. and the special free doll (which I think we all expected to be this amazing life project doll) is just going to be a flexi 2 body (that I certainly have no use for).

      Plus, as cool as the body is.. the head looks exactly like Drui.
      I really think something went wrong here so they just decided to end the project fast. x_x

    5. Oh, so the "free doll" is just a Flexi 2 body? Laaaaaaaaaaame.

      Something must have gone really wrong along the way. I don't know what, but... that really sucks. I like the Life Project series dolls. And yeah, for me Levi's head is like a not-quite-as-nice Drui. Both the hair and the eyes give that vibe. Bah!

      They had better darned give out those translucent parts after this fiasco. Like, now? People have only been waiting for, what, more than a year now?

Yeah they basically wrote to me as I'm on the subscription but haven't paid for Savon yet (the plan was for me to pay for Savon and the 5th doll together, but I think the person who worked there and sorted that with me isn't there anymore somehow as someone different wrote to me today) and are saying that I need to pay for Savon in order to get Savon, Levi and this free body.
      So now it's like, do I pay for Savon (who I don't like and would sell straight on) just to make sure I don't waste the extra $200 or so paid for the 6th doll (now the 5th doll Levi), who I don't even think I would keep and a flexi 2 body I don't even need.

      Both Drui and Aria have both just been sitting untouched for months too as I've been patiently waiting for the translucent parts and have now been sort of turned off the whole thing as a result.

      I don't know. I do like the stone thing, it's really interesting.
      But I don't like the human ears, the hair seems almost identical to Drui, and the face is too close to Drui for me to really need it.
      Drui is prettier anyway!

    7. I got the email as well, and disappointed as well. I got on the plan hoping for a special doll only available for the life cycle plan people. Now it's just a free body, that like many I have no use for. Oh well. I think the project just didn't sell as well as they would have hoped, expecially Savon, which is why they stopped it. Changing their energy over to their horses which I think did sell well. It's just now made me disappointed by Domuya. I think I'm done with them at this point.

    8. Yep, I got the email, too. Levi is the last in the series and the "free gift" for subscribing is a Flexi body which I also do NOT need. I'm really disappointed. I think they could have done a lot more with the dolls, and they're just copping out by giving away one of their usual bodies instead of actually designing and making our fee doll in this series. I'm really, really sorry I subscribed. Levi is the only one I've liked since the first two, but could have lived without him.
      Oh and I would be expecting those Drui parts....NEVER!
      I won't be shopping with Domuya again. They and Soom (another story entirely) have driven me awy for good.

    9. Same here. I adored Drui and Aria, but haven't liked anything since except Levi, but even then, the face is too close to Drui for it to be really worth it.
      I definitely feel as if going on this subscription was a really big mistake on my part.
      And I am so frustrated with the translucent parts. x_x

      Will give it a day or two until I cool down before replying to them anyway.
      It's just all so very disappointing.

    10. The more I think about this, the madder I get. Domuya has truly not acted in good faith by not making the last doll in the series, and I think it's about $$$. Instead of going to the expense to design and make a new doll (as they promised to do) that would make them no money since it was free to us, they're backing down and dumping us with an SD sized headless body that is a stock item and no doubt represents little if any money loss to them.
      Some way to act sensitive and activist about the planet/environment....go bak on your word and cheat your customers many months after you've gotten the money from them. I will NEVER shop with Domuya again, and I plan to spread the negative news about them.

    11. I've given up the transparent part for my Drui some time ago. :( It was just too tiring trying to get any attention, any answer, any possible date (that has been postponing and postponing and postponing till total disappearance anyway), that I started to focus on other projects.

      I'm not happy with this announcement, but at least it ends.
      No more false hopes.

    12. Someone mentioned to me that what Domuya has done is to break a contract with us. They made a deal about the dolls and collected most of their money from us a year ago. Now they have cancelled our "gift" doll and broken faith with us. If this were an American doll company, we could take legal action against them for doing this. But of course we can't do that, but it surely speaks VERY poorly of Domuya as a company. I have posted on their feedback thread here

      and have begun spreading the word about what they have done. People are horrified at this behavior. I've now heard many other stories about poor customer treatment from Domuya, and I and many others have vowed never to shop with them again.
      This is unforgivable to me. I want what I ordered, what I paid for....my last Life Project doll, not a headless SD body for which I have no use! I am so, so disgusted and disappointed in this company....unprofessional and thoughtless.

    13. I'll make some break on the drama and ask that what eyesize those D1-44 dolls use? I haven't found any mention of it and the head looks much smaller than average 44-45 cm dolls o_O

    14. Got the bill this morning to pay for the shipping of the 'free' body. Ofcourse I'm wondering what's happening with the clothes I ordered and they haven't sent yet. Most likely the clothes will be bundled in with my dolls but I paid the shipping for them already. Really sick of Domuya at this point.
