    1. ilumiari: Thank you very much for your love to our "Life Project" dolls! :fangirl: And as for the photography, we try to do our best in the nature, and it does payoff well with the clear lighting and we've got many insects bites on us too! *_*

      And as for Mermaid, she does have a jointed tail.....but I won't say "fully". Keke~~~but she is beauitful too! :D I have already pick my love! Hehe~~~

      As for the pricing, it will be same throughout our series of Life Project (as of determined to-date). That is, USD$399 for the Limited Edition Life Project dolls.

      These "Life Project" dollies are really amazing....I have to say. I look at them everyday and everyday, they are "calling" to me more and more, just like you have said. In my personal opinion, I would really advise everyone to "try" to get each of them in the Life Project. I am not trying to promote the sales here, but frankly speaking, each of them are truly unique and this series will just get more and more when the collection builds and you get all the unique parts and you get to change them in any combination you can get! That is also part of the "fun" that we are going for, when our company came out with this idea and choose to do unique sculpting.

      Well, there are still time left....approximately around 20 days. Try your best and you would not regret! :aheartbea

      I am so happy for this project, and I like Drui very much... but unfortunately, I cant afford her right now :(
      I know that she is limited, but I want to ask, if you perhaps plan some event, where she will be available again - for example on the Earth Day (april 22 in US and march 20 - official by United Nations / OSN). I think it will be good idea, that the Life Project dolls will be available again on that day ;)
      And one more question: do you plan to make boy version in the future?

    3. Hi Jaye: Thank you so much for liking Drui! Well, I am sad to disappoint that Drui will only be available through this limited sales period and he/she will no longer be available at our official store anymore after that as we will have other 5 ambassadors waiting for their turn to meet all the doll lovers and of course the special doll at the end of this campaign/Life Project! :D

      And thank you so much for your great idea of wanting to see our Life Project ambassadors again on Earth Day! Its a great idea and I already have an image on my mind at this very moment on how they'll meet all doll lovers on that special day. Well, I can't make any promise for now....but a little news would be that, my company does have something else planned for Earth Day!!! :aheartbea

      But I will definitely feedback this and see what happens then ok?

      P/S: I hope that you do get to own at least one of our ambassadors along the way! :)

    7. I wonder, what size eyes and wig does this girl take?
      I was assuming the usual 7-8" wig and 14mm eyes, but the link to 18mm eyes on Domuya's site has me totally confused!

      (Yes, I am already on the lookout for a wig and eyes for her.. that's a VERY BAD SIGN for my wallet! :sweat)

    8. I like her face and the sculpted head cap a lot! But I'm disappointed by the fish tail. I've been hoping for a proper mermaid for the longest time now- in a size I like (Tinybear's is great just TOO small). But this has the same problem that Eliv and Liv have for me, which is the fin feet not a full on fish tail.

      But that's what the Lifesaver option is for :) I'm really looking foreward to more photos!

      midnitestar7: Well, at least you found them now (just in time before Drui retires and Aria when she made her launches). How sad would it be when ordering period for them is over. You can consider getting the whole collection even! Cos' there will be a 7th doll (very special) given away free to adopters who have collected the whole series.

      It used to be "an offer" to purchase the 7th doll when adopters collected all 6 ambassadors. But due to the warm support we're getting, our company has decided to make the 7th doll free! ~~

      Chehime: I believe during the brainstorming stage, our R&D did consider making the "full" tail as suggested by you, but I think the idea was dropped, because of the added "inflexibilty" to the doll if the "tail" starts from the waistline and the added "cost" to adopters if everything for Aria has to be changed except for the torso, head & arms.

      There will be some pictures of some sculpts that were made but dropped shown on BJD Collectasy in a couple of days time. Please stay tune to what was dropped, if you're interested in getting to how did the Aria we have right before your eyes were born!~~

    10. Aria is really beautiful! The tail looks better in the new photos then I thought it would and I really like her sculpted head. Still, I'm not sure she's for me.

      But LOVE how each doll has a different cause which will be donated too! I thought they were going to the same one.

      I will have to think on her. Could you add some more close-up to the website? I'd like to see her webbed hands close-up and the back of the sculpted headcap.

      Also- are bothe her hands webbed? Or just the one. In one of the photos it looks like she has the transparent resin like Drui's hand and I was wondering if that was just one hand or both hands.

    11. Chehime: Wow! You really are very observant! :aheartbea I am sure Aria is very happy! I have seen the minisite photos and sad to say, there isn't one with the webbed hands closed up. But I'll try to get my company to prepare this for you. Both the hands are webbed and as for the sculpted hair, it is REALLY nice. There is one shot of her from the back in the minisite and I think it is superb!~~~ I just LOVE it!

      Oh yes! And though both hands are webbed, they are not translucent. You are very observant to have spotted that pair of translucent hands. That was just an "experimental" one used. Actual hands are better looking in beauty white skintone with certain parts/webbed area blushed.

      Thanks and I can tell you, the more you look on Aria, the more she speaks to you! Just like the magic Drui does. What to say.....they are ambassadors with magic that "electrify" you. :lol:

    12. I do like the concept that you donate for a good cause when buying a doll :)

      I do like the sculpt generally though the special legs and feet seem odd to me due to the pole visible through the clear resin. is the internal structure necessary of any future releases in the series might have the same aesthetics?

      I'm also interested about the subscription thing mentioned on the website.. will this be something which signs us up for purchase of all the dolls or just keeps track of our purchases?

      As I mentioned in the news thread, I too would like more pictures.:)
      Like was Aria, it would be nice if there were direct shots of just the face so we can see the makeup.
      It looks like Aqua and Violet are quite dark and extreme, perhaps even somewhat gothic, whereas Pink looks quite gentle and girly? I could be completely wrong as there is no good shot of the faces, and no good shot at all of Violet.

      The image I had for my girl was more blue based.. but now I'm thinking blue and purple would be perfect. I know that Aqua isn't the colour for me, but I can't decide between Pink and Violet!:sweat
      In one shot, the Pink looks darker and more purple tinted, in another is looks REALLY girly and pink!
      I have no idea right now!:sweat

    14. I saw a pretty face on the banner on top of the DoA forum and I was treated to the most unique doll I've seen for a while (advertising so totally work XD)...

      Too bad when I click through Drui 's ordering period was over. Though Aria is really pretty too... :o

    15. aki: Thanks for liking our Drui, be it the idea/concept although not 100%. But we are still happy!~ :) If you notice, the elastic band is purposely shown. We purposely have it "see through" so that it serves for it to be more unique. These was discussed during the R&D meeting and I happened to be there. So I have the information to it. And I voted for it too. I like unique stuff and ideas as these make the doll more interesting and special. But of course, the downside is, unique ideas usually do not have a wide acceptance! Hehe~~~ But as my R&D leader says, it worth a try!

      And as for the actual product, the trunk leg is not in translucent resin. The translucent resin for the trunk part in certain picture are just for exploration and its just one out of the 3 druis. The exact details on the part can be found on the sale page at www.domuya.net

      Vampireanneke: Yes! It is a WOW! Initially my company has decided it was "An Offer" to purchase the 7th doll. But at a later stage, we recieve lots of positive feedback and the response was good, so my company was in a celebration mood and says: "Ok! Lets make the 7th doll free as our way to say thank you for the support!" So this was how it was changed from a fee to free! :fangirl:

      midnitestar7      : I know you'll be on the subscription plan! The subscription plan is more than what you think! Haha~~~but it is a little complicated. So I rather explain it in future details if necessary after it is already launched at our site. If not, it might gets messy.

      That was one of the things I liked most about her legs.:...(
      So what do her legs look like if they're not translucent then? ::goes back to search the mini site for photos::
      Does this also mean that Aria's beautiful translucent hand isn't translucent in the finished product we'll be receiving?:(

    19. Aria's translucent hand was a test, the hand itself is beauty white and webbed, as far as I know. I think the only part of Aria that's translucent is her tail.
