Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. That's definitely an interesting concept. I love how melancholy Aria seems to be, because that's kind of how I pictured mermaids. And Drui has a very playful, innocent, yet mischievous look to her. Which is furthered darkened by how disturbing 'misusing' her really is.

    2. I'd like to say yes, I think that's what is happening. But I'm not sure!:sweat
      The way the FAQ is worded, it sounds like a person can join the subscription at any time along the series of dolls. The only rule is that you buy all the dolls.
      And of course the later a person waits, the bigger the subscription fee will be!
      Like if you waited til the end, it would be the ENTIRE payment for all 6 dolls!
      But if you were putting that on layaway, it wouldn't matter so much I think!

      Have you decided which Drui face up and which colour Aria to go for?:aheartbea
      So far from what I know, there are no Pink Aria's on DoA. then 2 Violet and 2 Aqua I think it was.
      And Drui,.. I think we have 2 x faceup 1, 3 x faceup 2 and 2 x faceup 3..but I don't quite remember!:sweat

    3. I'm working on the character for my Garnet (Drui) right now, but she's definitely going to be very dark indeed!
      I'm playing on the idea that I think her legs are burning, and of course, like many of my girls, she's a fairy!
      Most of my girls are good fairies though (they've just ended up that way), so I'm looking forward to having a dark girl at home!:D

    4. I'm trying to make sense of the 'subscription plan' they put up. I thought we were going to get the 7th doll free, but it looks like you have to pay $300 to get onto the Subscription plan and thus your paying for the 7th doll. (sigh). Maybe Domu can explain things to us.

      Edit: Figured it out. The $300 is for the 6th doll (which oddly your pre-paying for), and you still get the 7th doll free. Still...so odd.

    5. It's their way of keeping you there til the very end of the series I think.
      Say you tire of the series/tire of dolls/etc before the series ends in December-ish, you could easily drop out of the subscription and lose a little cash.
      By paying for the final paid doll in advance (not including the free 7th), you're basically stuck into getting that 6th doll, even if the series starts to get worse etc etc.
      Not saying it will, just saying, it's a very clever move to make the 6th doll prepaid!

      Orangediscord: The UV Snow White Skintone is the same UV White Skin we have been using all the while. There isn't 2 shades. So worry not.

      And I will get the measurement of the circumference of the neck for you tomorrow.

      Vampireanneke: Well, its the 7th doll that will be free. And not only will it be free, it will NOT be for sale separately too because its our way of thanking our customers who have supported the Life Project throughout from Doll 1 to 6. So the 7th doll is a FREE exclusive dolls for Life Project Supporters!

      And the benefit of the subscription plan is for those to have an (i) ease of their mind so that they do not have to worry if they missed the ordering period, (ii) priority allocation in the case of limited size edition of any of the ambassadors (if any), and (iii) extra savings per doll. Doll purchased through the subscription plan is lower than the monthly releases.

      And the reason for prepaid of the 6th doll is to be fair to those who purchases the doll on a monthly basis rather than on a subscription, in any case, if anyone chose to end the subscription plan halfway, the fee for the 6th doll will not be refundable.

      And a little bonus information for all Life Project followers!!!

      The next ambassador will be delivering the message of "Stop Air Pollution"!

      So guess how our ambassador will look like! Wahaha~~:D

      Or at least, we get a teaser tomorrow then the 3rd doll goes on sale in a couple of weeks.
      I foolishly spent the money that was supposed to go towards the next couple of dolls, and I now have a pathetic $128.28 in my paypal account! x_x
      In a couple of weeks I'm being paid $800 for a doll I have on layaway, and hopefully selling an outfit I have for $130 over the next few days, so I'll be totally fine to pay for the 3rd doll then.. just not right now!!:sweat

    18. There have been a bunch of vacation periods throughout Asia recently (Japan was a couple of weekends ago, Korea was just this last weekend) so perhaps Domuya have been off doing that? Or just busy with their new body.

      I'm glad it's taken a little while anyway! In a week I'll have enough money to pay by paypal (none of this annoying bank transfer stuff) so, the timing has been perfect for me!
      I really hope we get a promo pic soon though. Don't mind if the actual release date dates longer, I just want to see what's next!
