I actually really like some of the headmolds... especially Roy, Syon and Ran! But it would be nice to see larger pictures, of course.

Brand-new company on the block and they are certainly not wasting any time breaking out the limited editions!

I am annoyed that they seem to care more about the flashy design of their site than the actual dolls.. there are no really good pictures of any of them ^_^;;

I don't find the dolls terribly interesting, but I want that gun. (If someone gets him, may I humbly request that you do a Vincent Valentine cosplay?)

 

oh man.. I want doll rifles soooooo bad! XD "G" even has a trigger finger sweet. Anywho, one of the dolls in the flash reallly reminds me of some kind of Harry Potter..

 

Well, I just saw them yesterday and took some photos for a friendslocked review on them. I can't say I'm terribly impressed, but here's the directory for all the photos - some with other dolls [Volks, Happydoll, to a certain extent Luts], most individual. You can differenciate the dolls by the names of the images.

Oh, it also seems that they are not going to carry dolls from other companies anymore. Not sure about accessories/clothes.

 

They DO have bigger pictures! When I visited domu-net I saw a link to http://domuya-one.com/ x3 No close ups yet, though, but surely bigger and clearer :3 I kinda like Syon! x3

Well ... after seeing the bigger, more detailed pix (and thanks so much, mae, for posting those!), I have to agree with most who've posted here. I'm not overly impressed by the line. Something about the shape of the eyes and the overdark eyebrow treatment they've given most of them (is it just me, or does it seem like they've placed all the eyebrows a little too high on their foreheads?) just makes me think someone's goosing them all from behind.

About the only one who seems really promising to me is Syon. I don't know, though ... I'm a little surprised Domuya would totally forego and end their lucrative business of selling other lines for this one right from the get-go. I'm sure they're excited and have a lot of hopes pinned to this line, but it would seem safer to me to keep on with their more tried-and-tested services for awhile while waiting to see if their own line takes off as hoped. After all, they do seem to be asking a bit much for them right out of the gate.

I do wish them the best of luck, but I'm more than a little sad they're ending their old services--after all, they were one of the few avenues toward getting LEs after the fact--and I really hope putting all their eggs in one basket doesn't prove detrimental to them in the long run.

mmm they're much better looking in person. but i'm not overly impress by it tho. the only one that attracts me most is syon. he does look good in real life. the 42 cm line is pretty skinny! smaller compared to a volks msd . the head is really small. possibly could fit unoa's clothing. I'm not impress by their knee joints to. but i guess some of them are pretty ok. Perhaps with a diff face up it can be much better.
