1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

DoT boy Clothing?

Dec 19, 2005

    1. I can't speak for clothing on that site, but I've bought eye chips from Cool Cat before and they fast and speedy and communicated really well. The chips were always top notch, but if only I could say the same about their website... >.>

    2. It says in the sizes for their jeans that it fits DOT dolls, so it looks like I found my dollie his jeans. Now I have another question... will 8cm X 3.5 cm shoes from that site fir my DOT boy doll? O.o The size chart that's linked to here in this forum says that DOT boy feet are 7.5 cm long. They're so cute. They look like little blue dollie converse.

And sorry for asking so many questions. It's all I've done since registering here. But I don't own one of these dolls so I want to know what I'm buying and you all are being really helpful. ^^

      EDIT: Oopsies. The shoes I'm looking at are from dollemore. ^^;;

    3. I would like to know if there are any clothes other than ones made for them that would fit DOT boys.
I was curious about the Volks' SD 13 long-legged boy clothes or SD 16 but anything would be great.
      Thank you.

    4. I recently got an outfit from Dollheart and the pants a little short, but it's not too terribly noticeable.

    5. Oh, I really like that outfit! I like alot of the Dollmore clothes actually.
      Thanks Ashhy.

Are there any sellers in the US that sell Dollmore or have a good selection of any other BJD clothes?

    6. Just look for clothes that can fit 60cm dolls. The clothes might be short in some areas, but it's nothing to worry about.

    7. Well, I'm not sure if this is in the right forum, or if it is a repeat. I looked to see, (not very thoroughly) but I couldn't find anything.

so, can anyone recommend regular, modern day clothes that will fit DoT Boys?
I'm currently looking at Dollmore, but, I want to be sure before I order shoes and pants and such.

    8. I was going to buy a few things as a group oder from Dollmore and I'm getting a DoT soon too. I don't have clothes or doll on hand so I'm going with measurements mostly.

The model male shirts would fit terribly because DoT's have much slender shoulders: 13.5 compared to 16.

I think their SD shoes might be a bit too small. Someone said they bought a pair of sneakers from Dollmore and they fit their Shall, but the girls have much smaller feet than boys (6.8x2.8 compared to 8x3.4). You could try Model Doll shoes but they may be too big: Model Doll male feet are 9cm.

DoT's have an ankle to hip length of 36.5, and Model Doll males are 41. Dollmore SD boys are a 'waist' to foot length of 36.5, so I assume they would be shorter in the leg. Perhaps you'll have luck with pants that are long on Dollmore boys? (Like these)

DoT are also wider in the hips: 26 to 24
Waists are very similar: 20 to 20.5
Arm length is similar: DoT 'shoulder to wrist' is 19, Dollmore 'arm' length is also 19

Hopefully someone with on-hand knowledge can add to this thread, I'm interested in places to buy DoT clothes from too :sweat (good fitting shoes would be nice)

    9. I've gotten DollHeart shoes to fit on my DoTs-- though it's a tight squeeze at first.

Normal Dollmore SD pants are too short, though they fit fine in the waist. Their normal SD shirts should also fit fine. I've gotten my DoT to wear DoI pants, they're just on the slightly longer side and baggier-- which I suppose was the point.

Sunny's Wonderful World sells nice casual clothes that you can ask to fit DoT boys. And while I can't speak for their clothes, Releaserain sells cheap sneakers that fit DoT boys perfectly. Both are eBay stores.

    10. ah, thank you! i suppose i'll make pants, but i did find a few shirts i liked there.
if anybody has anything else to add, please do. all advice and information is appreciated! =]

    11. There's a sticky for all DOT-related topics at the top of this sub-forum. You'll find it useful for questions like this :daisy

    12. SD13 long leg outfits tend to work well as the pant legs are longer. DoTs generally are about the same size as SD13s though their waists are narrower (they're a little curvier ;)) If comparing to a CP Delf, they have smaller bottoms and thinner thighs but they are longer in the leg overall so some clothes come up short (I bought some Dollmore jeans and they're short on my boy). The lengthier style pants should be ok though. Up top they have big hands so unless the sleeve is forgiving you may need to remove a hand to get it through some of the narrower stuff. The arms tend to be short but again if you go with longer styled clothes they should be ok. Shoudlers and chest they're narrower than a CP or Volks boy.

Some outfits from various makers work ok. I just tried on the Reseda outfit from DollHeart and surprisingly the pants fit well and the shirt looked pretty good. Coffee bean was ok as well but not as nice. The other ones were a bit off (but I am mightily picky) a few other outfits work as well that I had the chance to try on my Sha so if you're interested in which ones out of the available ones worked let me know. Some Luts outfits are also ok, if they're shorts, short sleeved or purposely long in the arm and leg cut. If you put undies on the DoT the fit in the waist should be ok :) (I tried this with my black pearl outfit from luts and it worked pretty well though the pants were a smidgen short but hidden in boots)

There are seamstresses in the marketplace as well who do custom work that fits DoT just check the thread details and you should be able to see DoT in there ;)

    13. The Luts Delf clothing fits DoT's amazingly... As do the Souldoll outfits for the 60cm's. I haven't ordered from Dollmore before, so I can't give you a yes or no about those... O-o...

    14. I have exactly those pants for my DOT and the fit pretty well (they're a bit large in the waist-hip area but it just makes them look a bit baggy XD)
Also, Coolcat's stuff is extremely well made. The seller is really nice and helpful too.
Also, SD13 Volks stuff fits pretty well (what I've tried so far at least), mostly tops/jackets etc... Pants tend to be a bit short though.
As for shoes...I could only recommend Releaserain's sneakers/chucks which fit perfectly...

    15. I was wondering if the Dollheart's outfit ans shoes would fit on DOT boy?

    16. It fits, but it will be short on ankles and wrists :(

    17. Shoes fit perfectly, my boy wears nothing but dollheart shoes.

Outfits come up short though sadly.

    18. does anyone know if Mio or Flonne's jeans fit DoTs? or if you can specify that you need them to be made for a DoT? :sweat
i know Mio offers jeans for SD13 Boy(long-leg) bodies.
i'm assuming those would fit..but if anyone has bought from them before, your input would be greatly appreciated! :3nodding:

    19. you could probably ask to have them fitted if she can do that. DoT will fit the length of the SD13 long leg boy but the waist may be loose (if you want tight fitting pants that is)

    20. I'm looking at these pants from Dollmore for my DOT
      http://www.dollmore.net/shop/step1.php?number=3626

They are for a Model Male doll and the measurements seem close to me, but I was wondering do Model M pants fit DOTs does anyone know? Thank you!
