I live at my boyfriend's place mostly and his parents only ask for $55 every two weeks for food and gas. Of course my boyfriend would rather spend all of his money on Yugioh cards, Warhammer, and himself. He still owes me a bit of money. However I'm still generous and buy him things.
Warhammer is expensive... O.O and with X'mas on the way maybe you can get the rest of that Ducan money just let your family know ahead of time that you're saving and they might pitch in which helps a lot
thats one thing that amazes me when i read on DOA that a lot of moms and dad would approve to buy them dolls. *envy* I wish mine would do the same, but perhaps its the culture of most families where i come from, you know, like how they parents taught them when they are young during after the japanese occupation how hard it was. yeah i know the feeling dead boy dar angel, my boy is so into MTG, spawn,tranformers and warcraft which is okay by me, coz i love them too. i feel lucky that he understands my obsessions towards BJD, and not think its dumb to have such a hobby coz i met quite a few who tell me how wasteful it is, even my own fam. usually his really picky on what doll I chose. "thats not nice enough, if you really wanna get one, find one where the face worth the money." lols. or "what?? that's a guy? please, find one thats really look like a guy!" and he approve of ducan.^^ he didnt like the elf ducan though, he prefers the pointy elf ear than the rounded one. he even think when i get the homme, try and see if i could get the elf ducan body coz he really likes the nails^^ You guys are from Canada? We recently watched the DVD Bowling for Columbine and my friends think its cool that Canadians dont lock their doors^^. is it true though, for you guys? sorry OT for awhile,coz i'm really curious. My guy visited Canada couple of times before, but he never noticed the sort.

That will be tough. It's a highly sought after part and most aren't wanting to part with the Elf boys anymore though you might be able to get one (I think there's one in the marketplace) and then sell the head Some of us are. and for the doors, depends on the neighbourhood. In my old one I used to but where I am now I don't.

*Squeeek!* I'm so excited that the Homme Ducans have started to ship! My boyfriend bought one for himself (it's his second doll. I bought him a DZ Yuu, hid it to give him for Christmas, and he FOUND IT!!!), and we're both really excited for it to arrive. At least with a company like DOD, you know it may take a while, but the doll WILL show up eventually!

congratulations Adeacia! he's going to be my first doll too my mum says that once i have all my birthday and christmas money she will pay the rest, so i am hopefully going to order him on christmas day! i hope i can survive that long

So... Does that mean the outfit isn't sold with him? It said the shoes aren't, but I thought the outfit would be. I'm always confused with that site. I don't know whether DOD actually sells with complete outfits on the ones I want. ... And is there anyone willing to make the outfits, btw? I don't know where I would go or how much it would cost to get an outfit commissioned like the ones in the promotional photos!
