Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. DoT wigs - which other dolls will they fit?

    1. My CH Miya has a HUGE head. Okay, maybe not super huge, but big enough to the point that 8/9 would be way too small for her and that 9/10 would be better.

      Some of the CH dolls have smaller heads (like Cyn), so it really depends on who you bought. I'd say that 9/10 is probably safe for all of their SD-sized dolls and that 8/9 would be a risk you'd take.

      Sorry to answer so many of your CH questions -- I've had a few of their dolls, and my Miya was my first SD-sized girl (and only haha) that I bought a few years ago. :>

    2. No worries ^^ I'm just glad someone knew the answers otherwise I would've bought another wig that didn't fit.

      The Ai I bought is a Seol-hyang...so I don't know if her head is smaller than the Miya or not :sweat

    4. in general they're pretty close. depending on the dollshe mould. My Sha had a slightly bigger head than my friend's Saint but they both fit into the 8-9 wigs :)

    6. I'm wondering if Dream of Doll's DoT wigs will fit a Dollshe boy's head.

      Dollshe heads are ~9cm in circumference, but DoD doesn't seem to have any measurements of their wigs(DoT-size) or their DoT-line heads' circumferences. XP
      (Or maybe I just can't find it)

      Can anyone help me out?


      (I didn't know whether to put this in here or in the buying/shipping q+a. Mods please move it if it's in the wrong place. >.>)

    7. Which Dollshe mold? The Hound, Van, and Bermann are one size, the Saint and Bernard another.

      I finally got Ashe and I've been looking all over ebay and the MP for black wigs in his hair style but I can't find any at the moment. XP

      The Monique Jojo wig looked just right, but they were all out of the black and the black w/ grey. >_>
      I'm not having much luck with wig searching...


      DoD has some nice ones that will work, but they don't give the head cap size. ><;

    9. Oh no.... DoT heads are small, only about 8", and "egg-head" rather than "watermelon-head" shaped. I think Dollshe heads are an inch or two larger than that. Given that DoD wigs have elastic that isn't stretchy it won't fit.

      Denverdoll stocks Monique styles and you can also check Cancan or Kondoll.

    11. Actually, as Husky's head is a solid 8 1/2"...there might be a chance that DoT wigs would fit, but that could be a pricy gamble. XD FYI Monique 8-9 wigs fit fine, just a little bit loose, so a rubber band helps.
      ...of course, I have some sort of humongous supposed-to-be-8-9 Luts wig on Claude right now (because real 8-9 straight middle-parted white wigs seem to be hard to find darn it) and I have a safety pin in the back of his wig holding it tighter so it doesn't fall off. :sweat

    12. I think DOT wigs should fit, but if you're looking for other options, I can tell you that Leeke Heat Resisting wigs (9-8 size) fit Husky's head to a T. I've got one for my boy and I couldn't ask for a better fit!

    13. I had my Bermann wearing the default Camine wig for a while. It was a bit on the small side but it worked. :)

      Currently he's wearing an 8-9 Monique BJ.

      I ended up getting a long black wig from Kon'D. It was actually my third choice out of her wigs (my 1st and 2nd choices were sold out).

      I'll just have to cut it to his hair style. =^w^=


      Maybe I'll get one later on second-hand in the MP just to see if it works.

    15. Hello~
      I'm wondering if DOT-sized wigs from DOD will fit SDF head nicely?
      I know DOT heads are small but I think SDF heads (8~9") are relatively smaller than normal SD sized (9~10") heads too XDD

    16. DoT wigs are very fitted and don't really stretch. I recently got a DoT boy wig and I tried it on everyone in our house and the only dolls it fit were some very small headed Super Gem girls (perfect fit there!). It didn't fit on the Wintery event head at all.

    18. Definitely will not fit SDF Dion in any case. I have a 1st release Dion and about 8 DoT wigs floating around the house and he doesn't fit a single one. Dion is pretty much the epitome of "8-9" head sizes amongst my dolls. Even the stretchier of the DoT wigs won't go over Dion's head...
