OK, here is my girl... Hope you like her! First time posting pics....hope this works.... The outfit is a KK Workshop MSD outfit. I had to pull the laces tight on the top to fit her. The Wig is a CanCan J Series, The eyes are 18MM Masterpeice silicone eyes in the color gray fox that I had in my Soony. They looked better in Lily with her red wig. Funny how that works. I'm keeping an 'eye' out for some smaller ones for her. Enjoy!
ooh i like her, she's got some nice attitude going on n_n if you like the soft glass eyes, look up eyeco on ebay, BJ's Babes or whatever sells a lot of them (they're just like masterpiece but a lot cheaper and you get them sooner). although i wish they'd get better pics for their auctions >.<
Sarah - she is BEAUTIFUL!!! she looks a lot older than my girl too, you have a whole sorta sophisticated young adult thing with her - that wig looks amazing on her and her eyes I like a lot, but then I like the big eyed look More more!!!
Thanks Sue and Mendokusai! It's really amazing that putting a little more color on her and adding a more mature wig and those eyes would make her look so "teenager". OK, that pic was a little blurry. BTW! Some Alex doll clothes fit her! My mother in law (to be) has Alex dolls and I tried her clothes on Lily....VOILA! The pink shirt that she is wearing in the pic above is Alex. The pants are a good length, except some of them don't snap in the back....go figure, some of them do. and the long sleeve shirts and jackets end up more 3/4 length, but they look great on her! When I say "some" fit her thought I mean try and stay away from anything that is form fitting without stretch. (like sheath dresses). YAY!

Ah, I'm so pissed off at my parents! They said they'd get a face up for my girl, but they haven't paid for it yet I think I'll have to do it for them, but it makes me sad since she's supposed to be my birthday present
Sorry I haven't been posting here lately, work has been kicking my ass;_; But I've been looking in from time to time, and I love how creative everyone is with their Lilys!^^ I haven't got mine yet (serves me right for ordering during Chinese New YearXD) although her fiance has already arrived... but that is another story.^^ Oh, and I had a question for Lily owners who are using the default fur wig from Laidoll - is it still true that it leaves stains, as someone reported earlier in this thread? Rukia, the character that my Lily will be, always has a loose lock of hair falling across her face - so if the wig does indeed stain, I may have to get her a new one before she gets here. TIA for any updated info!
my Isazu stole Lily's wig, and wears it constantly- in his face i haven't had any problem with staining, although i do think he looks like Robert Smith.

Happy Cupcake - Hey at least you are getting the doll these things are so expensive I can see your parents point in not getting the face up if it is a money thing. I don't know how much Laidoll charge. Doing your own faceup is a lot of fun tho Tokiko - I think if the resin is MSC'd it wont stain, Kef has a stain on her shoulder blade from when I left her laying down overnight with her wig on a bare shoulder and it stained, her whole head is MSC'd tho and it doesnt seem to. Alasandalack - robert smith of the Cure?? LOL ace look!
oh, that's good to know.^^ Ichigo, my Nobility Lie, came with a small dark stain that I don't know how to get off (I knew about it before I bought him) but it's luckily in an area normally hidden by clothes. I wouldn't want Rukia to get a similar smoodge on her face.
I've read that Mr Clean eraser from the US can remove them, I'm hoping to trade for one (or several) tho I did once see one on ebay. Not sure if you have a local product that might work - Iv'e been told we do in the UK just not investigated it yet.
Sue yay, i know that shop; featherfall!! it´s wonderful! hehe! Sarah your Lily is sooo beautiful, i love her lips!!!! so glam! Tokikomy default wig does not have any problem staining either. Happy-cupcake i´m sorry to hear that but don´t be sad, when u have your doll, it will be your birthday again (the feeling is the same^^) and u can celebrate HER birthday too!!!!^^ gambatte!
After a little while, Kiera's wig stopped smudging, so for all I know the marks were actually pencil stains or something. And it never did anything to her face.
*still waking up* well, my minisup has been wearing meryll's default wig and i haven't had any problems with staining... but she also doesn't have any bare non-MSC'd skin. i'd assume if you put it in vinegar or whatever it would help the color stay in? or maybe if you just washed it normally... i'm sure there's a topic in the maintenance area about wig stains. n_n and OT, but tokiko i love your LJ layout hehehe
Happy Cupcake - You might want to think about trying your hand at your own face-up. I order all of my dolls without so that I can play They are not that difficult and they have great tutorials here. If not, you could always send your lily's head to another face-up artist (one where you enjoy thier work) and pay them to have your head painted just right.
that's probably why Ruthie hasn't stained either- she's MSC'd from head to toe. duh! thanks for pointing this out.
wait a sec- it's Isazu, my DZ Feng, who's wearing the wig. and he is NOT MSC'd. which therefore doesn't explain the lack of staining. i don't know what's wrong with me today
Maybe its something to do with the resin on lily? just a thought. The staining Kefri has is really not too bad. Sarah I meant to say I will try and get to TRU this week ok
