@Shido @Insane-Chan Thank you for the confirmation. I'd pass then. My friend got a not tender v. of E-an and it happen that this owner had style her too well that I quite not sure at first glance. Like.. 'could e-an be this lady-like !?'/ 'but she's look very alike my friend e-an !??'... lol.
@xxxsaturnxxx Oh my gosh you've found a lovely E-An. She looks like a dream come true, honestly. I wish I could jump on her haha So hi guys! I ended up buying that T. Shall I've named her Hako (ハコ), after the musician Yamasaki Hako. She was definitely one of my few true grail dolls (next to the Lahoo I was able to purchase recently-enough-ish). I'm a pretty solitary person when it comes to my hobbies like this, but I really enjoy seeing everyone's love for these dolls and I feel like we can truly understand each other lol So here she is! She seems to get along with one of my two Sha in particular. So I'm not gonna mess with them, I'm not gonna question it. I'm gonna just let them do their thing.
Oh! She's lovely isn't she? Thanks for the auction information, I'm definitely participating. E-ans always seem to go very fast when they pop up! Edit: the auction ended! I didn't win but I hope whoever did enjoys her very much! She ended up going for 520
Happy New New Year! What a gorgeous family! I hope one day I could take picture of my DoD family together too!
Happy New Year everyone! I put Tohma in one of his canon outfit that I completely forgot I had (thank you, @gelfling21!) Its a lot brighter than it looks in the pic, but its as close as anything I've ever found. Tohma's canon suit by Ryuichi Sakuma, on Flickr I tried to find a pic from the anime (Gravitation, if you're interested) that showed the similar suit, but I couldn't find one that I could link to here. I love this suit, even if its not as tight as suits were in the 1990s. Ryu
Thanks for all the kind comments! The default wig really does look good on him and I haven't been able to find one I like more for him yet. They did a good job picking it even if it feels too big for his head. Maybe someday I'll get a body color matched but it's really not on the high priority list right now. I'll never be able to find a body I like at the few companies that offer resin matching anyway. I got all my dolls out for a family portrait a few days ago and got a shot of my first and latest doll together. My tastes really have changed over the years! I can't believe he'll be 13 in April. Time really flies and I'm so happy I still have him around. All of his clothes are even SD13 size too. The pants are really high water but with his big old boots on, you can't tell. I think that's lucky because I don't want to buy clothes specifically for him since he's my only 70cm boy and I have no plans for more.
Ryuichi Sakuma 13, thank you))) yes, it becomes very difficult to find something from DOD... And I want Lahoo so much! ))) I hope some day l will get him)))
Just popping in to love on people's photos, and to drop in a usable body for the big boys! I got a Ringdoll body on the RGM-4 (68cm) body, the resin match isn't 100% on the head I tried but would likely work for slightly more yellowed, the neck size is perfect and the head doesn't look too big at all (...Ringdoll heads are way smaller than I expected, lol). The hands fit on a DOT/DOI body as well if the socket is sueded, too! The head's a Dream Head 3: Neck side, comparing hand size to face DOI trousers do fit as well - if a bit tight around the actual hip joints/crotch.
Does anyone know what body would work color-wise with good posing ability that would go with a dot female head? we're having such a hard time finding a dot girl body. Please let me know yuor ideas. Thanks. its ns.
@monkeybonesmom Angell-studio might work - I haven't checked out their newest bodies but they're of a similar size, their pink tones weren't far off when DOD were still around, and they definitely yellow in a similar way
