shido, can you tell me anything about the other insta girl. is it dot or doc. how did you get in touch. the link i got looked like french foodie, no pics of dolls. I sent a messege in english but havent heard anything back. any advice? thanks

 

She had a Tahlia and a Shall, the Shall was already sold when I messaged I've had some luck with WTB posts so that's all I can recommend

I'm curious about this too! I have a DOT E-An head that I'd love to put on a body, either male or female, but I know the neck hole is smaller than the boy's, so it's been difficult to find a good match.

 

YAY! Congrats, @Shido! Pics when she arrive, okay? I have to admit, I'm not too familiar with many of the girls, so if anyone wants to show theirs off....

Someone answered my WTB DOT/DOI thread! Orrell (DoT Dream head 13) got a couple of new outfits! A striped suit, a couple of shirts, a pair of boots and this:

The D-203 outfit! The seller took off the crosses (which I would have removed anyways) and some of the chains, but I can go get chains and new dangly bits from Joann Fabrics. Maybe some keys or wings...hmmm.

He has the coat as well, but its getting warm here, so he's not wearing it right now. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that one side of his hat was smooshed until after we went back in the house. Oof.

I've wanted this outfit ever since I saw it back in the day, so I'm thrilled that I was contacted to buy it! And like so many of us it was a "I'll get it someday, but first I'm going to get this other outfit from this other seller." Before I knew it, DOD was gone. I have to admit, I'm thrilled that I managed to get D-173 for Tohma, my DOI before DOD shut down.

I'm still going to keep my eyes open for both DOT and now DOI outfits, so if anyone sees any for sale, feel free to DM me a link/links.

Ooh, congrats on getting the outfit! I just thought 'wait, that looks familiar!'and had to do a double take. My Happydoll Arthur is wearing this outfit too! It was so difficult back then to find clothes for him, and these fit perfectly. Your Orrell sure looks happy in his new outfit.

My U-i is 10 years this year. Irial says hi. I need to change him into something winter approrpriate for the weather here.

 

Thanks, @Ophiaca, both Orrell and I are thrilled to pieces that he was able to get this outfit! I'm eventually going to get chains and whatnot for it, but for now, I'm just enjoying the fact that he finally has it.

@Buzzibee, Irial looks great! Yeah, I suppose it is getting colder down under. Its getting hotter here in the US, I have the A/C on and every one of My Crew is now in summer clothes. Orrell is still in his D-203 outfit, I'm loving him in it so much, he's probably going to stay in it until winter hits. I should take a pic of Tohma in his rockstar outfit, he certainly looks the part now!

Out of curiousity, anyone know good jointed hands for DOT boys with the older mellowed resin.

 

@Ryuichi Sakuma 13 Thanks I have a few that I still need to get nice photos of! I've just bought new bookcases to use for my dolly display so it might even happen this week!

@Buzzibee The pairs I have are a few years old now, but Dikadoll work for DOD. They've yellowed so they're not PINK anymore and now match some of my older dolls better than the ones I bought them for I need to get round to ordering some more

I bought a DoI elf the B hybrid with 70cm Island doll body. The matching is perfect, both are in WS. But I don't like buffy body, I prefer slender type. Has someone tried to hybrid DoI head with resinsoul bigger body?
