Dream of Doll's "Dream of Idol" (DoI) line - Luke, A&D and CRUSH!

I sent them an e-mail about purchasing DOI and whether that qualifies for an Event head, I hope to hear from them soon. I really want Luke 2 and T Lahoo head

I sure hope that we can pick different outfit for the boys (rather than just the one in the default photos. I would love to have the AD 2 outfit for my Luke 2. Otherwise, may need to get Dollmore outfits for now

 

I agree, I would love to just buy the outfit. I already said I love A&D's No. 1 outfit. I would even buy it for a DOT, though it would be a bit big. I wouldn't care though, it's so cute! But I have a feeling it will be like H. Ducan's outfit, only availible when you buy him.

argh.... can't think what should I do!! >,< I was supposed to buy a body for my MNF and get the event head from LUTS but DOD just pop out and showing me MORE gorgeous doll! Gosh! my 3 poor floating heads will be bodyless until I save up again. And If I get T. Lahoo there will be 4 floating heads

 

lol yeah this hobby is crazy. I'm overwhelmed and I don't have any!
I told myself I would never have any floating heads. Yeah right, that will be a lie, just like only having one doll.

About the T. Lahoo head as well. I'm also not a huge fan of it. I think that when I get it, I'll get some supplies later on and attempt to do a faceup or something. Or maybe if I decide not to do that, I'll send it out and get a faceup for him or something and then maybe a body later.

 

@*Earthbound_Angel*: Well, if I did buy A&D or Luke, I'll have to focus on my floating heads, they should have a body asap. I feel bad seeing them without a body.

can anyone read the Event announcemnt in DOD korean site? it mentions about DOI for event 2.

I hope that DOI dolls is included in free head.

 

People should totally buy DoI's and sell the T. Lahoo head! Then I can buy myself a T. Lahoo head on the 2ndary market. XD

 

We are all in the same boat

I was going to buy a body for my boy from Luts...... but in a few hours, once the prices and the details about DOI purchases and Event head question are resolved; poor little Chiwoo will know whether he is getting a body this time or next year

I have 4 floating heads right now. But most are sharing body with other bodies. So it is not that bad. Only Chiwoo and Reisner are really bodiless, so ....

T Lahoo can share with my H. Ducan, so that will work out just fine.

lol and I would probably be one of the ones selling it. I guess you never know, you could see it in person and magically fall in love with it. What do you think a fair price for an event head is?

 

Haha, if anyone doesn't know what to do with a T.Lahoo head, I'd be glad to take it off their hands! I reaallllllly want Luke, but there's no way I can afford him right now! And unfortunately I'm in love with that head. *__*

 

My migidoll ryu can't share a body with my H.ducan. ehehe.. and I've got 2 mnf heads so I should really buy a body for them.

I'd personally be willing to pitch out probably around $175 or so for the head, including face up (cause I have no artistic abilities to do one myself and I like default face ups XD ). Will try to save up. X3

My guess is that the first several paychecks from my new job will end up going towards dolls. At least going by DoD's usual wait time, I have until about February to save up for the pretty little t. Lahoo head. V_V;;

 

You just reminded me that even if I got enough money how long I would have to wait.
Anyways, the head will be interesting to see what it would go for. If I sold it I wouldn't go lower than $170 for it.
I'm an Illustration major, but I can't see myself doing a faceup. I would be way too scared. I will always buy my doll with one!

 

I've got 3 face-up less heads. I know how to do face up but i'm not good in color combination for face ups. I'm a fine-arts graduate and I'm working as a graphic artist.

I've got 2 male heads which a bit easier to do. I might order A&D without face up and with T. Lahoo... I hope that I could give them a very nice face up...

Yes, do go get something to eat. There is plenty of time for you to eat a good meal and not to miss anything.

Well, according to DOD molds are the same for 2 versions. But if I'm going to give A&D a face-up I want him to have Elf-Ducanish face-up.

I love Luke too but I'll get him later after I bought bodies for my floating heads.

 

Doing Face-Up is a lot of fun. But I am still not good at all at it

I got a lot of tools (from Dolpa etc.) The class offered at Dolpa was really helpful, now I just need to practice, practice and practice.

I will get the T Lahoo without face up (because I do not like the default. I love his original face up..... I wonder if they will do the original Lahoo face up, probably not. For event period, they have too many orders as it is. They will not be able to fill special request. So I will try to do the face up myself or commission someone for him.

 

Ah I got it! An Elf Ducan faceup will be really nice looking! *squee*
