Dream of Doll's "Dream of Idol" (DoI) line - Luke, A&D and CRUSH!

they're not Porn stars... They're something like being famous. Idol doesn't always mean as Porn stars... Check the dictionary for the proper meaning of being an IDOL

 

I'm planning on ordering A&D #1 but I'm going to keep the outfit because it's my favorite. Sorry, but I wanted to let you know!

 

If I can raise my funds in time for the event, I will most likely sell the T. Lahoo head to let you know.

 

I did say usually and am awear of what the word idol means in the western world. I was just simply meaning whenever you see "idol" related material on (usually) japanese and korean websites, it's about porn stars, not normal stars.

It was actually only meant to be a joke. **shrugs**

 

i WAS going to get a Homme Ducan but at these prices i gots to get A&D ver. 2. Damn those seductive eyes draining my bank account with such glee; sexy, sexy glee.

I justify it by saying this way i'll be able to accurately make Hound sized clothes now. ^^;

my question is does DoD sell DoI sized wigs? I want A&D ver 2 but not his fur wig but when i looked for an alternative one the biggest i could find was DoT and those are 0.5 inch too small!

 

It may be a joke...but it's kind of rude and a bit stereo-typical... In fact, most of the time I and my friends who live/work/grew up in Asia, when they speak of Idols, it's as in performers. Like Miyavi, Ayumi, Jay Chou, etc. Since they don't just sing, they act, do commercials, model, and the like.

Sorry...but to get back on topic...

I'm really bad...I'm already trying to figure out if my next paycheck will be enough for another DoI...as in A&D...XD Who needs to save for those vacations anyway???

Keriko: They might include the Ver 1 Wig instead...but that's fur too >.< But then again, maybe the DoT wigs would stretch to fit? It's only a .5cm difference... I don't really know..I've never had a wig from them before =\

 

You are as bad as me. I originally planned on 2 LE dolls.... then now DOD hits me with DOI with Lahoo head. Then I saw a beautiful Kara Klum in the marketplace (whom I have wanted for sometimes now)..... My brain is about burst. My CC cannot handle all these wants and my room does not have space to hold all these wants...... I need to give up someone. I am

But do photo spam your A&D and Luke (they would look so awesome together) when they come.

 

actually its 0.5 inches off. It still MAY stretch but i don't want to take chances like that. I wonder if i could just go to the marketplace and get a size 9 wig and be fine.

 

I would assume, since I own two dolls with 9" heads who STILL need the 8-9" wigs, that the DoT wigs would fit just fine.

If not, there's always Leekeworld E size, or the newer Volks wigs (which have elastic in them ).

Luts would probably fit, assuming they aren't as gargantuan as the one I have here at home, it's more like an 11" wig. >.<

 

Hmm, I hope the bodies themselves will be sold separately after the event. I need a smexy body like that for my Minimee I'm ordering next year...

I'm probably going to be selling off my Lahoo head (that is if I get it with just the purchase of one DOI. I may do a faceup on the Lahoo when I get him, but when I do sell it off I'll letcha know!

Also, back to the topic on the number of dolls we need to buy to get the free head.. has anyone else heard back from DOD yet?

The more I think about it the more I think that it probably will be with the purchase of 3 dolls instead of just one... Cause really, if we buy one DOI, we're already getting a discount price, and THEN they're going to add in a free head worth at least $150... it just seems like too much... But, if someone were to buy a DOI, DOT and a DOC, which would rake in a price of around $1500-ish (just the standard dolls) then getting a free $150 head seems a bit more plosible...

I don't know... just another thought from my head.

But another thing to look forward too... even if we don't get the head... if we spend over $200USD we do get that free wig! XD

 

yeah I hope they sell the bodies separately too! the minimee I want is really tall and nicely fit and this body is like one of my favorite things on these guys I hope it is a good match.

 

That is exactly what I was thinking. Because the price for DOI right now is too good ~~~

Still waiting for reply. It is Sunday there so I am not expecting any reply. I hope by tomorrow morning (their afternoon) we can start seeing some more clarification.

I know some complain not getting e-mail from them. But I always get reply in regards to purchasing questions within 2-3 days from them For all of my three transactions, I have had excellent experience with DOD.

 

Hrm. I think I'll wait to hear the outcome of the whole 3 dolls or 1 doll for the T.Lahoo before I order. I was just going to buy a head at a later date, but if you just need one doll... I think I'll have to buy one! Changed all my plans around.

As for wigs, some of the DoT wigs are very small and have to be stretched to even fit on the DoT heads. I have several and have had this occur with all but one of them! I'm not sure I'd risk getting one for a DoI. I'd think an 8-9 or maybe even a small 9-10 would be okay though.

Haha, I know~~~! I might have to give up Xiao's current form...^^;; The thing is though...I don't know if I could!! I just ordered a type 2 neckpiece and new hands...>.< And I put so much work on his body, and I'm putting MORE work into it... I seriously should have listened when I was told the flexi-bodies were too much trouble

But really...I think I'ma start having dreams about the Luke and A&D mold together....X3

 

I don't see how that's plausible at all, very extreme. Especially considering the combined shipping of the whole thing, which to my area is over $130 USD. Yes, very extreme. If they didn't want those who bought DoIs to get the head, they would not have included them in the list to receive one. -shrugs-

As for the wig, I believe it's only for orders that don't include full dolls, rather body parts (since they're not included in the head event) and the few clothes and shoes selections that they have open there.

Looks like they added a request on the Christmas Event page to not sell the T. Lahoo head.

 

Yeah so far I've had 2 transactions with them and it has gone very smoothly, and yeah I normally get replies 2-3 days after I email They're very good with answering their mail!

I still do hope that the head will come with one doll, but if it doesn't ah well, the price of the DOI like you said is too good so I'm rather happy with that already!

I actually found my Sha's wig to be a bit big for him... it moves around a bit (I don't use the elastic) but it still seems fine. Then again that's the only wig I have so far from DOD... but yeah I can see how they'd be a problem on the DOI's... but I'm sure DOD will sell the 3 models' wigs.. well at least I hope they do

And I really want them to sell Luke's running shoes... >>... I bought the dress shoes for now, but thos erunners are too cute! And they match the outfit so well.

 

Yeah that's true too... I never took the shipping price as part to the full price... but yeah when you add that in (around $80 for me) plus customs (another $50) that's a pretty heafty price already...

 

I really want to buy the running shoes too. Finally nice sneakers for the bigger dolls! I hope they sell them; I've been waiting for them to go up. My A&D needs them. Did anyone send them an email about the shoes specifically?

 

i don't really care for the running shoes... I think I'll find a nice pair of boots for them. *shrug*

what'd i'd really like to find is all kinds of pairs of converse or all star, the emo punker shoes.
