1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dream of Doll's "Dream of Idol" (DoI) line - Luke, A&D and CRUSH!

Nov 27, 2007

    1. Yea, you have to pay in full within 10 days. As far as I know, DOD does not have a layaway plan, and it'll make things similer for everybody if you pay all at once..^^;

      And yea, DOD does take a LOOONG time to ship. They're always so delayed...I have 3 dolls and have waited a minimum of 6 weeks for each of them. I think it was a full two months when I did the v-day event last year. I won't be surprised if it's MUCH longer for this event, considering they're releasing new dolls AND an event head, all of which are extremely sought after. u_u;

    2. I wonder why DOD's new release of DOI didn't have any females~
      But I'm not complaining XD
      Luke, A&D, and Crush alone are hot enough, if DOD does put anymore, my laptop screen will burst in flames XD

    3. Ouch! :o I ordered Luke last Saturday... but the bank wire went out on Monday... I hope it's still early enough <3 But we'll see! :D

      OH I so know what you mean! When I first got Shea... I was like running (well technically driving) as fast as I could home to open up the box! XD I had the box open before my mom threw me the camera! <3 It was so intense! <3

      I was actually thinking about sending my Lahoo head out to get painted as well... but I really want to try out a faceup myself... I've never done it before cause I was too scared to do it on my first doll, but I think as an extra head it'll be a good practise subject! :D

    4. Oh lord mine too! O____O It was almost painful seeing all 6 of the new models at once... I'm sure anymore and I would have exploded like my laptop! XD

    5. XD lol.
      Yep, I agree. I'd like to try. Someone told me not to though since it's limited. -shrugs- I dunno what I'll do.

    6. I probably shouldn't be worrying about this.. but when I ordered and used the Paypal option, I don't think it ever asked about the account info or whatever for it. Do I have to do something in order to make the payment with Paypal?

    7. Yeah they say to include your order number with your payment, which should have been in your confirmation email.

    8. Confirmation email.. I got an email with my order info in it..; I didn't pay with Paypal when I ordered here before.. -worries- ..so I don't know exactly what to do..

      EDIT: Ok. I got some help from a friend. Thanks anyway. ^^

    9. nevermind, got it ><

    10. For those of you saving funds for one of these 3 flaming hot bishonens, here's the latest status on their availability (In order of popularity):

      Luke V1: 73
      Luke V2: 87
      A&D V2: 90
      Crush V2: 92
      Crush V1: 96
      A&D V1: 99

      I think DOD started with 99 or 100 each... So as you can see --- they're not likely to run out anytime soon....

    11. Thank you for this! How did you find this out?
      Aw, why is the guy I want not popular? No love for A&D No. 1? I think he's hott. :(

    12. It looks like Luke is the most popular among the DOI boys. I even got Luke for myself... and hopefully get A&D...

      :D

    13. Wow, that's quite a lot of dolls! I wonder why they started out with so many? ^^' Hopefully it won't have overloaded them and they can get them all sent out in a timely manner.

    14. Do remember that these boys ARE NOT limited edition. So the default stock quantities they put into the On-Line Shopping Mall does not reflect what they expect to sell during this period. As a requirement for any program, they will need to put something in the inventory so they can sell. If they put a very low allocation - when these low quantities sell out then infamous "OUT OF STOCK" icon shows up; the computer dude will need to keep on going back to add quantities every time a doll sells out. This just save them time and makes customers happy (because you and I will not see that "Out of Stock" icon and start to post in DOA about it LOL)

    15. I know they aren't limited edition. ^^ Though for me, it would make sense for a company to only do a smaller number at first (more like 25-50 per doll?) so that they do not over-load themselves, especially now that they have the event going. DOD is notorious for their long waiting periods, so I'd think it would be easier to limit the number just in case so as to not have to extend their shipping times. I just fear for another Luts-like event, where people were waiting a good 2-3 months while Luts was still releasing new dolls and new events.

    16. Wow that is a ton of them for sure! :D But yeah as mentioned above, since they are just starting to sell them, they'll probably have a ton on stock :) I'm still just waiting for my payment to go through... that's the one thing I don't like much with the Bank Wires... they take a few days to go through... >___<;;;

    17. Don't know if I should post this here(feel like I'm interrupting something:sweat ) but I was wondering.
      Would the Tender Lahoo event head fit on a DOI body?
      If and when DOD sell the DOI bodies separately I was hoping to get one if the Ten. Lahoo head would fit.
      If it wouldn't fit does anyone know where I could get a body that it could fit on and match good with the resin? I was hoping to get a 70cm body if the head would fit.

    18. As far as resin match goes, I'm fiercely hoping that their resin for these guys is no longer the frightening pink it was for the Elf Vampire Ivan and Kirill. o_O; The only resin that matched those two was DiM. Should they go back to their usual paleness, maybe you could get away with using a dollshe body. Although from what I can see of the resin army here at home (there's a Saint among the ranks), DoD's usual resin doesn't really match much of anything. XD;

    19. I don't think the Tender Lahoo head will fit the DOI body. I think it was mentioned somewhere, but I forgot where.:sweat Maybe it could with some modding, but I think the issue is with the neck hole? Someone correct me if I'm wrong! As for another body, I'm not that experienced with BJD's to answer, sorry.

    20. I believe in one of the Event notices it was mentioned that the T. Lahoo was meant only for the DoT bodies.
