1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Can confirm, wolf/fox boy has excellent posability, but yikes is he strung tightly! I struggled to get his head on. He is currently lounging on my bed like the worlds strangest (and coolest) cat.

I also had a bit of trouble getting the eyes in, still trying to figure out what I want to do with them. I have a few small iris eyes coming in, will probably try those when they arrive. They're flat backs too, so no dealing with eye stems.

I also managed to chip his blushing about five seconds after finishing it. Oh well, at least since I'm the one who did it, I can redo it later!

    2. I think DV strings their dolls super tight as a default. I struggled to get Kheima's head on (SD Phiel head on the 3-arm body). I left him curled up for 3 weeks in the hopes his stings would relax a bit but ended up having him re-strung because I was honestly afraid of damaging him from the alarming way his joints would creak/squeal when moved. He lot a little bit of the ability to hold a pose with his 3-arm when he was re-strung but I'll take that over how I got him.

    3. @xyuemoto Thanks! I have to get some better pictures of him tomorrow, it was dark by the time I finished painting him!

@Iron_Dog I've heard people mention how tight DV's stringing could be, but I guess I never really thought about it since my Bethel and Greyson are both pretty normal tension wise. My boy doesn't really creak, but getting his head on and off is giving me an upper arm work out!

    4. Yes the stringing is ridiculously tight! She I first got mine they creaked and squealed every time touched them. I hated it and restrung them as soon as I could.

    5. I'll just deal with not taking his head off very often. He's posing great and not making weird noises, and I'm not adventurous enough to restring him anyway. :)

Here another pic. I'm still in the figuring out the aesthetic stage of dressing and wigging.

    6. @Magnus Vale His blushing and outfit came out so nice, I like that dark red with all his blonde tones.

I put the backup Elvish head on him and I think I'm going to stick with this hybrid, he's a little younger and more anime-styled like this and a better match with my other dolls.

I just figured out yesterday how to use liquid urethane to do additive mods that match the translucency of this resin better than epoxy clay, so I think my next project is going to be tinkering with his fur sculpting and knee joint engineering. Maybe get really ambitious and articulate the ears so they can be posed...

    7. @ChilmarkGryphon Thanks! I need to do a little touching up of his blushing now that I have a better idea of where the joints rub when they articulate, but I'm pretty happy with his aesthetic at the moment!

And your boy is lovely too! The Elvish head does look good on the wolf body! Sounds like you've got some pretty cool mods planned too!

    8. What do y'all think about the new giraffe boys Clover Singing shared photos of today? I really like them! Especially the one in purple/gray resin- such a cute smirk!

    9. At first I was all "ooo pretty faces!" but looking at the blank sculpts i'm not as into them. Which is a relief for my bank balance.

    10. You have to go to their website and click "limited" and the blank sculpt images are in their own listing. It's sort of annoying and doesn't show the human versions at all. When I was doing it earlier the site was VERY slow and kept timing out too, which wasn't helpful.

    11. @purple_monkfish Thank you for the information on where to find the blank sculpts! I quite like these boys, especially the ears.

    12. I know DV has a longer wait time, but I was wondering if anyone has received Silina or Collier yet? I am thinking of getting one of them in the new purple resin with the current event, but I was wondering about their body posing (and if anyone maybe had some comparisons of them vs the dollzone girl msd bodies, too lol)

    13. My Silina has shipped. But she was sent EMS, so it's in the abyss now. I'm hoping she gets here by March? Maybe? Hopefully? Fingers crossed?

I also got her in dragon form, not the regular girl body.

    14. It looks like a lot of the pieces are the same for the main body besides the feet, so any insights would be appreciated once you get her! :) The dragon version is SUPER cool, I really hope you enjoy her when you get her. :D

    15. The new giraffe boys are very interesting designs.
Are dream valley full set dolls worth the money? I am thinking about getting a boy with face up and the whole body make up.
Do they make small changes to face ups if asked?

    16. I ordered through alice collections and was able to change the eyebrow colour of the greyson faceup.

    17. That's great to know, thank you :)
Where you happy with their paint job?
