I ended up repainting Dove's face since his chonky lashes and eyebrows were bothering me. No major aesthetic changes, though. Took him out for some pics too!

Hey,
I just got my first dream valley doll body yesterday!
However it didnt come with a coa. Original box and everything, I ordered him through new clover singing so its a legit doll, but the body didnt come with a coa. Is that normal? Or should I ask them about it?

If you have a little keychain like thing in there, that's what counts as their CoA, I believe!

 

hi, thanks! Yes Ive seen that but I didnt find it in the box at all. It was just the body in the box that was it

 

I bought a 3-arm body from Legend Doll (a dealer) and there was nothing included in the box that even vaguely looked like it was a CoA. I do have the branded box so I guess that's proof?

 

IIRC they only do CoAs for full dolls and not bodies, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just keep the box and your order receipts if you're concerned.

Can confirm: I ordered heads and a body from a dealer who I know was in direct contact with DV. The heads came with keychains, the body did not.

Hi everyone! I'm not sure if it's the right place to ask, but has anyone tried putting a Zaoll head (preferably Ramie) on a Dream Valley 51cm boy body? Would such hybrid even be possible or would the proportions look too bad/weird?

 

I’m legitimately, physically upset right now.

After all the pain I went through accepting that I would have to get Howard with the B4-13 body… now they have a new version of him with different ears and the B4-04 body I actually wanted. I’m paying off the rest of my layaway this month. I don’t know what to do.

I have half a mind to try and contact Cloversinging to see if I can change my order… AGAIN… but I’ve tried to get that body before and I don’t know if my order has already been cast, or if I’ll be pushed back further if I ask for a change.

I don’t believe this. I know I’m going to have to try and get an exchange or sell the body once it gets here anyway. I was so set on the 51cm boy. I don’t know what to do now.

 

Maybe you can offer the centaur body for sale/split if changing the order won't help? And then put that money, towards the body you wanted

 

It’s not the centaur body, oh gosh no. It’s the b4-13 body, the shorter skinnier human version. I might actually be able to find a buyer if it was the centaur. The 13? That might be hard to get someone to exchange with me.

 

Ow! Sorry I didn't know. Yeah definitely ask to change it. I guess Newcloversinging can list that body for in stock sale, so I would definitely try to change the order ( good luck with that! Howard is a beautiful sculpt

 

I’m just really annoyed because DV told Christina they absolutely could not sell Howard on that body. And I made such a fuss I’m going to feel awful if I have to ask her again. But I guess it’s worth a shot. (I’d still be paying the higher amount regardless, I really don’t mind as long as it means I can get the doll I actually want… so it’s not like she’s not making a profit.)

I just feel like such a Karen. Or the male equivalent of a Karen. A Kevin?

 

Yeah, I understand. However you are also paying a lot of money for the doll and if they first said no but suddenly its okay to do so I do believe you can ask about that again.

Maybe asking to switch your order to the new Howard II with the taller body would be easier for them to do than the original Howard which might not have fit on that body? Though @JJ3_dolls may have already suggested that. I don't think you'd be a Karen (or Kevin) if you ask politely.

I love the ears on Howard II. I might try putting one on the three armed body one day...
