I believe that he found out about the medical instruments Nell has on the way... But it will also give him a chance to figure out that though Inara might be exciting, life will be be much happier and more stable if he chooses the lovely, gentle Phoebe. Phoebe has certainly been enjoying his company but she is so unassuming she would never think any feelings were reciprocated With Inara, Merrick is realising that once they have both agreed how beautiful she is , they really have very little else to talk about
I love that coat on him, wilkies! Here's another doll that can look so different just with a little thing like a change of clothes! For such little guys they have so much personality! ________ How funny that his expression actually looks different with one sister than it does with the other!
