mtspal- He is just darling in those pants and that hat, so he can wear Tommy size clothing?? I don't even think I have seen any at my local TRU, guess I'll check Target or Walmart's toy section for clothing for my Bunko later this month. Can't wait to get him home, he is so adorable! Imajica- They make the cutest couple, can't wait to see more of them together.
Merrick and Phoebe are so sweet together...he is so tenderhearted and Phoebe is so sweet with her cute little homemaking and taking care of the animals...they totally belong together! I'm so glad that Merrick got his head together and realized which sister was his true love. Mtspal he's adorable in that hat and pants. I just love Bunko.
derilan85, you can sometimes find some pretty good lots of Tommy clothes on eBay for not too much. And that stuff fits a lot of the smaller dolls like the pukipukis, Brownies, Secretdoll baby fairies, Lati whites, Nari-pons, FireFlies and probably about another half dozen I haven't even thought of. It comes in very handy to have around if you aren't fond of tiny, nekkid dollies all over the place! (But Bunko comes with his wonderful costume so at least he has some things to wear on arrival!)
Ah, anybody looking for kelly and tommy stuff ought to look here: http://tabloach.auctivacommerce.com/Default.aspx They seem to have a LOT of stuff. Merrick and Phoebe look sweet together. And cute hat on yours, mstpal!
Tabloach is another great source especially if you are looking for specific items. Plus I think the Tabloach wigs fit the Bunko/Tiko/SJ heads about right too.
I am going to have to look on ebay for LPS stuff, I have never seen people here in OZ only little puppies and stuff. He does look super cute
Actually there aren't any people; the accessories are for the "little puppies and stuff." They are all animals, but have a lot of accessories. There was a summer set that I took the beach chair from that works super for all my tinies; I will dig up a pic of it and post it here (works much better for my tiny humanoids rather than the dog and rabbit that came with the set). We have a whole bin of LPS laying around (raising 3 girls allows for that kind of thing to be just "laying around"; in the sofa, under the chairs, sucked up by the vacuum cleaner, in the seats of the car, etc). There are some very cute accessories; ice cream cones, radios, sunglasses, toboggan, ear muffs, lots of scarves and hats. I have a pair of "dress up" bunny ears that came on a dog to make him a rabbit (go figure!) that I am hoping will fit S--ee when he comes home.
Oh Mtspal - your Bunko is so CUTE in his little hat and pants!!! Is he whispering his name yet?! What a darling!!! I have never even heard of tommy??? was he a Kelly pal or something?
Yes Kellys pal. He is the same size as her but he has heaps of boy clothes which DarkStar says fits Bunko perfectly. I have a suit on order for Merrick.
DOllwize: Tommy was indeed a Kelly friend. Alas, my children never played much with Barbies, so no Kelly clothes here (although I think we may have a witch's costume somwehere). As for my little friend, when I see him in his hat and pants I keep thinking of Tom Sawyer, but I can't see naming him "Tom" so I was thinking maybe Hucky??? I will try it on him for a couple of days and see if he agrees, although I am not so good with names. Here is the picture of the itty bitty beach chair I was talking about earlier. I also found an icecream cone, but he doesn't seem to want to share!
mtspal- Your Brownie looks so adorable wearing his pants, that icecream cone is just too cute along with the purple dragon!
derilan85: Funny what your eye doesn't see when you take a picture. I totally forgot he was on that shelf, too. He is a relic from about two sets of "collectibles" ago. I got rid of all the rest, but couldn't seem to part with him!
Oooh I like Hucky! Keep us posted on what he thinks of Hucky. Thats an adorable name and indeed he does have the look of the serious wanderer. Tiggy is oggling the purple dragon with utter awe!
Hey Tiggy: I am pleased you like him. His name is Slapperoo and he was designed by a lady called Deb Canham. At one point we had about a dozen of the little guys hanging around, but they went the way of collecting (I sold them to buy dolls!!!! ha ha ha!). Actually, they are pretty cool; their arms and legs are jointed so they can sit and stand, are made of ultrasuede and have amazing detail. I once thought them very expensive for their size (about $50 each). You can find them readily available on ebay for reasonable amounts. They are called the "dappled dragons" and there are tons of different ones. Just the right size for tiny dolly companions!
Ooooh Thank you Mtspal! - Tiggy is thrilled about the info and already busy on her iphone checking them out LOL!!! But Goodness, Slapperoo does look so Cute with your boys!
He certainly does. I love the name Huck. He is such a laid back Bunko. Lots of them look like they carry the weight of the world on their little shoulders. He just looks so chilled. "You take the chair I will take the egg cup , thats cool " Slapperoo is a cutie too.
My poor Bunko has been in limbo since the 28th. Stuck somewhere in NY but supposedly not in customs yet. I hate when my packages go through NY because it always takes sooo long. Chicago customs rarely takes more than a day (for me). At this point I'm wondering if he'll even get here before my b-day.
Awww Lula - several of ours spent some time in NY too, well it was St Pattys Day and I think they had a few pints together...
I think you got him all figured out. We had a beautiful day here and I caught him in the backyard...... (I know it is an odd angle, but I didn't want to wake him up.)
