1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dressed for the weather?

Oct 12, 2022

    1. As someone who just bought hoodies for the boys in preparation for the fall to hit? Yes. Yes I do.

For whatever reason I just dont feel right seeing them in typical "summer clothes" at the moment. I feel like they would get cold if they sat around in tank tops and t-shirts in the colder weather. :XD:

    2. I love to create new outfits for my dolls for each season. These days I don't have as much time to do that, but for the first year I have a doll, I try to make outfits for the seasons so the following year they have appropriate things to wear. I love fall clothing the best, both for myself and my dolls, so sometimes they just keep those outfits year round, but I'm also trying to find warm-weather styles I like and recreate those. :)

    4. I change mine with every season.

    5. I absolutely like to dress my dolls so they’re ‘comfortable’. It just feels off to see them in a tank top and shorts when it’s snowing outside, or in a sweater during the peak of summer. I actually just recently finished making a hooded scarf for my boy so he’ll be ready when things finally cool down, just have to dye it some fun autumn colors and he’ll be all ready for the fall season.

    6. My crew gets somewhat seasonal clothing - short sleeve tops in warm weather and long sleeves in colder weather. They all have holiday tops that match, and they wear those from just after Thanksgiving to just after New Years. The tops are the only thing that changes, though as they're all wearing denim leggings and socks. They're not wearing shoes because I don't like having to tie their sneakers and they're just hanging around inside anyway. Some day I may make them some warm slippers for winter, maybe...

    7. I find it super fun and a reminder to take care of my dolls when I start getting the itch to change their outfits for the weather.

    8. I don''t often change my doll clothes, but a few of them do get clothing changes, and I do change them to something cooler if it's an unusually sweltering day or if it's colder. It would be really nice to have seasonal sets of clothing for everyone, but alas.
