Elfdoll Boy IS Hot! Special K

I...was really confused when someone else was talking about the Elfdoll K. All I could think was...Don't you mean Lati K?

Anyways, personally, yeah he's dead on perfect for yet another one of my characters...but can't get him unless I win the lotto so. They'd better sell the hands seperately, I love the hands!

 

He's amazingly hot, and even more so after I edited a picture to see if he would work for my character Kasada:

Man, he's so gorgeous, but I liked him a million times better before they made his eyebrows furrowed. I'd like to see someone mod him so he's less... angry.

That, or hopefully the other heads will be compatible with his body. D: He's a very handsome guy, I'm just not keen on his pissed look.

i'm wondering if whether since elfdoll in my opinion did the right thing by ditching the naming contest, i should try to pre-order this boy. he is awfully skinny! he reminds me a lot of the blonde guy on The Man From U*N*C*L*E (for all the 40+ year olds on this board who will have a clue what i'm talking about there). it must be that black sweater picture.

I agree, Zadkhiel. I sent my only other friend who's into BJD a picture of him, and she loves his body, and not his face! "He's too angry!" She says. But, for me, he's so perfect. He really reminds me of Ziggy from Xenosaga, who I'm doing a concept doll of. ^_^

 

Oh yeah; I remember. I had the biggest crush on David Niven. Kind of hard to reconcile that image with "Ducky" on NCIS!

 

OK, now I'm totally confused. Where are people getting all these numbers from about "down to 2" etc.? Not only can I not find any numbers, but they're still letting orders be placed. Just to make matters worse, I only just NOW as in a few minutes ago got any e-mails from Elfdoll regarding this sale even going on...so did he already sell out and they're just taking waitlist orders, or what?
On top of that I messed up and ordered the non-entrant head due to not getting the e-mail about THAT until a few minutes ago too.
I have absolutely no idea what's happening with my order

 

Bunnydots: If Elfdoll hasn't yet sent an e-mail to confirm your order, you can still cancel it in "order status". Or if they've confirmed it already, try explaining your situation in Q&A. I'm sure that Miss Cholong will definitely respond. Good luck! =)

 

Well, I'm sure if you haven't yet paid for your order you can go into your account cancel it and place another order

Thank you, I didn't want to cancel the order because it included the doll and I wasn't sure if that would cause me to miss out on him entirely, or lose my spot on the waitlist if there was one.

I just left them a long discussion on the Q&A board about ordering the wrong head, and also left all my Myspace info on the correct head page. So hopefully they can take note of that because it will not only save me the 50 dollars, but it will free up another head for someone who didn't participate in the naming contest, and wants to buy a head.

I haven't gotten a confirmation e-mail and at this point I'm not sure if I will because I've seen other people posting here and there that they didn't get their confirm e-mails - I'm wondering if stuff is just all sold out, or alternatively if Elfdoll's server has gotten overloaded as I only got the e-mail about the sale going on a few minutes ago, after I'd ordered based on reading about it on another forum.

 

Yes, this is also the one time that I paid right away because like I said, the doll was in my order, and just in case the doll had already sold out and they were going by who was all paid up, I thought I might have a better chance if I was all paid up...darn! I really mess up good when I mess up.

 

Okay, now I'm confused and worrying. X_X I ordered him way early this morning (about 7AM Est) so I hope nothing went wrong.

 

you probably got him - but for some reason the e-mail from Elfdoll announcing all this stuff that was dated like 19 hours ago JUST showed up in my box like an hour ago. Pretty sure it's not my provider, they're usually quite fast. I think Elfdoll's server must be taking quite a beating.

 

I was probubly about the first person to purchase him (about 12:50am Eastern Time) Yesterday because I was scared he would sell out in No Time.... Edit: He's ~Sold Out~

I don't think I got a letter, but I only signed up for an account two days ago. When I check on the order status, it says 'receipt of credit payment'. Which makes me wonder, since I don't think I specified a paypal account or credit card. Hojeeze. I think I'll cry if I don't get him.

 

where are you getting the number, Anthony? Somebody else posted like 2 hours ago that there was only 2 left, and I'm pretty sure at least one other person besides me ordered since then...if there's only one left down from 2 then maybe I got the second last one?
