Black Catsy is in the house! She arrived earlier than I thought she would and I'm really pleased with her. For those still waiting - I hope your cats show up real soon! You're going to love those earrings in her ear! This is one cat with a lot of attitude - just the way I like them! I've named mine Josephine, in honor of the legendary Josephine Baker. She just seems like a star to me. But I'll be calling her Josie for short.
Haha! That's so funny - she also reminded me of Josephine Baker! I think it might have been the outfit in the promo pictures, plus that she's so skinny.
Catsy's at the post office! The card was in the mailbox today when I got home from work! Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until Saturday to pick her up, since our post office is only open 'til 5:00. Thankfully tomorrow is Friday.
Hmm... I have a elfdoll (I have him for sale in marketplace) ^_^. Elfdolls have a shiny resin... and not to add black would pick up light more too.. Not to say she might be painted, but I bet shes made of black resin.
Catsy came to my house today! She is gorgeous, and so dainty! Her resin is just lovely BTW. Worth every cent, she is so detailed. My Mom is in love with her!
I'm squeaking with anticipation.... Only 13 hours to go before I hold my very own Catsy in my hands. I can't wait!
Yes she is made of black resin! I asked Ms. Cholong from Elfdoll (Artmaze) when I picked up Catsy if she was solid black resin. She is so beautiful.
I was waiting by the post office door when they opened at 9:30 this morning, eager to pick up my Catsy. This is my first tiny doll. She's so sweet, and exquisitely detailed. Elfdoll did a beautiful job finishing her. All her seams are sanded, and her painting is well-done. Here are a few images of her. This is my lovely, tiny miss only a few moments after taking her out of the box and unwrapping her. Of course the five-year-old girl in me took over almost immediately, and I was compelled to divest her of her clothes. And here she is modeling her made-this-afternoon designer gown. Notice her beautiful profile... I love my Catsy - whose name, she has informed me is Cleo, not Bast. I'm hooked. More tinies, more animal dolls. They are adorable!
Congratulations Koryuu and everyone else who received their Black Catsy dolls! Isn't she wonderful?! Love your pics, Koryuu! Very cute designer gown, too! Looks purr-fect on your Cleo!
Thank you, Cattwo! Yes, she is wonderful. I can't get over how sweet her expression is. In all the pictures I've seen of both her and the white Catsy, they've always looked a bit cross, or sad, with the down-turned mouth. In person, though, she looks pleasant and not at all miffed. I also love her curvaceous body. Elfdoll knows how to make 'em. She reminds me of a miniature LB Rainy. Me-ow!
I just posted some pics of my Black Catsy, Josie, with my white Catsy in the Gallery. Here's the link: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=219180 I need to work on taking better pics of tiny dolls but hopefully, you can still see how much fun they can be.
You're welcome, calliope13! They are really cute together - even better than my pics show. I'm afraid that if Elfdoll comes out with any more different color Catsy dolls, I'll have to get them, too! A whole litter would be fun!
Your pics are killing me guys, I so want one! Has anybody ever try to change her eyes? I'd love to see how she looks with another eyes color...
