Elfdoll Catsy

As of this moment, Dolls and Friends apparently still has a few Catsy's in-stock.

I won't get my girl until July, but I plan on switching her eyes out.. to what color I am not sure... I bought a ton of 8mm eyes while waiting for my normal Catsy and then decided I like the ones she came with best.

 

Well, I paid off my Catsy's layaway a little early.
Anyone know where I can find 8mm blue cat eyes?

 

Not a doll that I would get, but very interesting, I can see her appeal.

 

Someone had mentioned getting some off ebay - jncshop has some 8mm slit pupil glass ones but not sure if they would work with bjds. Someone else recommended Masterpiece Eyes but they would need to be made custom and that could be costly. Wish I could be of more help but the only blue bjd cat eyes I've seen are only available in larger sizes. My white Catsy has blue eyes but with regular pupils. I think blue eyes would look great in a Black Catsy, too, so I hope you're able to find a pair!

 

I sometimes think this board should be called Den of Temptation - so easy to be enabled here!

 

Just to add that I've paid off my layaway with Dolls & Friends - who are terrific to deal with! - and now Catsy is on her way.

Well, my Catsy arrived this morning. No shipping notice, but hey..she arrived.

But she has a dent in her nose. Poor baby.

 

So sorry to hear about her nose, Cathy! You mentioned in an earlier note that your Catsy was coming from Dolls and Friends - I believe they still have more dolls left. They should replace her for you and send the other back to Elfdoll for repair. Let us know how it works out for you! Wishing you the best!

Mine arrived yesterday. She may be called Bast, only I think someone else was thinking of that name?

She is either a goddess or a screen siren.

 

Kathy(D&F) is contacting Elfdoll to see how they want to deal with it. May take a while, but they will do something.

 

I was going to name mine Bast, but she informed me her name was Cleo - so the name 'Bast' is still on the market.

Besides, even if I had named mine after the Egyptian Cat Goddess, I think there's room in the world for more than one. More glory for Her. ^_^
