Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. Does anyone know where to find sunglasses to fit Catsy? I've seen pics of one wearing them before and I'm looking for a pair. If anyone has any info, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thank you! :)

    3. Hi! I agree. I have black Catsy. The little feet with silver sandals are wonderful. The paw hands are a disappointment and I wish they had included little hands with fingers and not just fist hands. Grrr. Tibby

    4. I agree. I look at pictures of the original Catsy with her actual hands, and I wish that they'd done that with this one. It would have been nice to have had hands and paws, for example, instead of the fists.

      She's a love, though. I love her expression. Mine is on a dollhouse-size sofa on my nightstand, so I often hold her in the evening before I go to sleep. Even after a month, I still marvel at the detail of her sculpt and the tiny perfection of her body.

      I'd like to make her some more clothes. It certainly doesn't take a lot of fabric - I just need the time. With those long, slender legs, she needs a shorter skirt or a pair of shorts.

    6. Sorry Stella... I have to agree with tibby and Kotyuu on this one. I just don't like the paw hands...
      It does not help that the shape is hauntingly simular to my grandpa's hand (who lost all his fingers and has a "paw" how himself). I know as soon as I get my Catsy in those paws are coming off.

      It such a shame that elfdoll will not allow you to buy regualr hands... I did not even care about the color... I would have dyed or painted them... but they just will not sell the regular hands. :(

    7. I wish they had given us regular hands instead of fist hands, since I've never bothered with fist hands anyway. Although the paw hands don't bother me - they do make dressing a little easier, as far as sleeves go- I do agree that they should have made regular hands available for sale. They sell all the other optional pieces - why not hands? And they are the most likely to get damaged, too, so many people may need replacements at some point. Perhaps Elfdoll will reconsider and offer regular hands sometime soon. Here's hoping they do! :)

    8. You could write to Elfdoll and suggest that. I have extra feet for my Adel, why not hands? Many other dolls have alternate hands, including larger Elfdolls.

    10. I must admit, I'm a big fan of Catsy, but I think one is enough for me.

      Plus I wish she had normal human hands so she doesn't look like a freak next to her white sister. :P But I'd love to see a pic of the two together though.

      Black resin must be difficult to make too. :sweat

      The difference of hands doesn't really bother me and I think they still look cute together. I do hope Elfdoll will make tiny hands available separately at some point in the future, though.

    12. My girl came home yesterday!

      Here's her opening (and more shots of Catsy and Black Catsy together for Taruto ;))

      I LOVE what Elfdoll did with her hip joint!!!
      For those of you who may be wondering what I am talking about, there is a tiny bump on the inner part of Black Catsy's hip cup and a dimple on her leg. This helps her legs lock into place and keeps her from flailing like her predecesor. :)

      Hmm.. I was poking though the memebers section... turns out there are two Black Catsys named "Nefertiti Falafel" .. both in California... how weird is that?

      I am still racking my brains on names for my two. I think I may have it narrowed down to two choices, but I am still looking for further options.

      Latin:
      Marria – A different spelling of "Maria" the dark "sea" plains of the moon.
      Tarrae – Highlands of moon

      Egyptian:
      Kekewey – Darkenss
      Seba - Star
