Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I went to Dolls and Friends recently and held a SB Sooah - and to me the small body was a little too 'sturdy" -(hope that makes sense) - I guess I am too used to the waiflike fashion dolls. I'll see how I feel about Hazy's body when I see her. I can't wait!!! Aargh!

    4. At the Elfdoll party last weekend, they had a Hazy there for us to see in person. The new body is slimmer and very natural, especially in the hips and thighs. The bust looks much nicer in person then it has in several of the pictures. The color is darker than the current normal girl color but lighter than the boys. I wasn't sure about the molded high heel shoes, but they look great in person! Ms Cholong said this would be the standard body for future dolls and will replace the old body.

      This makes me so happy you have no idea -- hurrah!! :dance: I've been hoping she'd be at least a little darker than standard girl!resin from Elfdoll, and that's great news! ^________^

    8. From what I gather from the Elfdoll site, the reason the new body is darker is because that the special "Real Skin" version. Standard versions (released in May) will go back to Elfdoll's former pale skin.

      It's good to hear that the breasts don't look so bad in person. I'm ordering an Emma in May and was dreading that body. Do you have any pics, nancy_schroeder?

    9. I didn't hear anyone ask about plans for a darker skin, but if there are enough requests, it's possible in the future. It may be possible. Some of the promo pictures were of a darhker skinned doll. While that doll photographed well, Ms Cholong said it wasn't a pretty color in person.

      I only took one picture of the face with my cell phone as I forgot my real camera! It won't be too much longer until user pictures are up. Hazy is supposed to ship at the end of the month.

    12. Good to know that they haven't completely ruled out a darker doll. I was all set to order a tan Hazy and then when she was released, she was quite pale. I thought the darker shade suited this particular sculpt much better, plus I get tired of pale girl dolls. If they release her in a darker version I will definitely want to buy her. The sculpt is lovely but I don't need another pale girl Elfdoll.

    14. hello all: I was at the Elfdoll Showroom over the weekend and saw Hazy in person also. She is darker than Homme skin (Elfdoll boy resin), but not as dark as Ruru. Ms. Cholong emailed me back and wrote that only the Special Hazy release will have this resin (named "Real Skin"), and future releases of standard Elfdoll girls will have the new body, but in the normal Elfdoll girl resin color. The new body has slimmer proportions overall than the old girl body but stands the same height. i'm very happy with the new body, and I don't mind the new breastplate sculpt since I display my dolls fully clothed ( the girls anyway:) )

    19. Ms. Cholong posted a thread with picture comparing Hazy's resin with the other dolls.

      I have to say after seeing Hazy's prototype in person...she has a really strong presence, very much like Elfdoll Ryung, and very beautiful.:aheartbea
