1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Elfdoll Rainy girl Hazy

Feb 6, 2008

    1. flamingomoon: there's one for auction on eBay here. She's a fullset.

    2. Riddley50, THANKS!!!
I'm going to look at that now. I think first, though, I should go water the money tree!

    3. Cor, the standard version is soooo pale looking! I also like the standard face up more than the limited D: She's beautiful, but I'm glad I got the limited. I need an Emma next...

    4. Whoo-hoo! Love her. Oh, dear!

      Thanks for the info, Gia!

    5. I think the Standard Hazy looks much better than the Limited version :sweat Much more like the original impression I had of her, ethereal and graceful. Now she's starting to tempt me....

    6. Tatuffi, she is just stunning! Absolutely beautiful.

    7. thank you I find it also beautiful :fangirl:

    8. I just preordered standard Hazy a few days ago and I think waiting 6-8 weeks is going to nearly kill me! I very much prefer the limited Hazy's skin (it looks sooooo real!) but I have a feeling once I get standard Hazy and see her in person, it won't matter what her skin looks like any more. :)

Everyone's photos are giving me so many ideas! Thanks for posting, all!

    9. me too ...I kept comming and looking at here here
and thinking how fab she would look in photos ...and ...contacted Kathy and had her on layaway

she takes my breath away ...she will be back to me by Christmas ...or quicker if I can stop buying tinys LOL

    14. Hi guys! (:

I'm doing a little bit of personal investigation on resin properties of different brands and dolls, and as Hazy is one of my personal favourites (So. Pretty.) I'm very interested in her in particular.

      I'd really appreciate it if some of you who have received their Hazy would be so kind as to answer a few questions for me. Namely, these;

      - Is the resin very shiny, and will blushing and coating help?
      - Is there a smell to the resin when the doll is new?
      - If yes, how strong is it and how long does it linger?
      - If yes (again), does it come back if the doll is stored somewhere with little air such as a box?
      - How poseable is she? (More of a mold question than a resin one, but still. xD)

      Thank you in advance!

    15. Elfdoll bodies do have a shine to them but they come sanded and absolutely smooth. Giving them a coat of MSC will remove that shine. Pretty much all resin BJD's have that smell when you unpack them but it goes away very quickly.

My Hazy poses the best of any of my BJD's. She can stand easily in heels.

    16. Yes, I'm aware of that. I suppose I should have put more emphasis on the part where I'm asking how strong it is in this particular case.

Thanks for the reply though! And that's good to hear about the posing. (:
