Elfdoll Rainy (Large) Discussion Part 4

Does someone have the measurements for the Rainy female body? I'm trying to find them to no avail! I would be happy knowing even only shoulders, bust, waist and hips.

So sorry, I don't have one. But I think it was similar to SD dolls like a luts delf ?? Though it you are making fitted things that must be exact, I just don't know

Which Rainy body? There were four or five versions; the original in two different versions (large bust/three-part torso, and small bust/two-part torso), and then the second generation, with the squished boobs, then the Pinup Girl body, and Standard body that came out at the same time with I think a two part torso, then the last standard body with weird, huge nippleless boobs, that was not in production for very long at all. I have a few kinds.

 

The body that came with Ryung, I am not sure which version it is! I don’t need to do a fitted pattern for that body, but I wanted to understand if clothes made for her would fit my other dolls

Do you know what year she is from? How many parts does the torso have? Did the boobs look squished together?

Shoulder to shoulder : 12cm
Bust circumference : 22cm
Waist circumference : 17cm
Hips circumference : 25cm
Thigh circumference : 15cm
Legs length : 29cm
Length from shoulder to groin : 19cm
Length from shoulder to waist : 10cm
Arms length : 18cm
Wrist circumference : 5,5cm

Also, Arengil, don’t give up yet! I just got mine, and I thought I would never, ever have one again. My daughter and I both stupidly sold ours and regretted it.

 

You're right! With Morse from Souldoll, I also claimed that there was none for me and he showed up.
A second Vivien would be good too.

So, years ago I randomly bought an elfdoll Soah (I think, I only have the box) secondhand: just to be sure (maybe the coa is lying around somewhere) do elfdolls come with CoA?

 

I think heads used to come without coa. I have a coa for my full Yuan doll but none for heads.

 

The early ones did not come with a COA.

 

My early ones had a small card and some literature, but nothing that would be considered a CoA. The heads never came with CoAs.

 

Jumping in to confirm that the older dolls didn’t have the coas. Just got a Soah Reminisce that had never been removed the box at Doll Peddler and she only came with the standard doll literature at the time.


I was on a hobby hiatus around the time Elfdoll stopped producing the Rainy dolls. Did the later produced heads ever come with COAs? I’m still searching for Vivian second hand and just want to know if I should ask about a COA.

 

I have only seen the small card and info packets that Alewife references. I think the card was supposed to fulfill a CoA-like purpose; it doesn’t contain name, date, or other information specific to the purchase, though. Filled-out CoAs like that, I don’t believe they ever did.
