Elfdoll Rainy (Large) Discussion Part 4

@Senko for the last 2-3 years of Elfdoll's existence they were having those November head sales. They weren't sending CoAs with the heads at that point.

 

Good to know, but so frustrating to think of how I missed out.

 

Hopefully you can find the ones you want!

 

Has anyone put their male heads onto other companies' bodies? Got pics and input on what neck and shoulder sizes worked out? (more interested in proportion than resin match, i'm willing to color to match and also am not too bothered over match in general)

I think the neck and shoulders of their original bodies looks a little small so wanted to do something different for my floating sp. K head.

 

I've put male heads on Granado 64cm bodies, but you're right, they're made for narrow necks, so I had to widen the neck hole. I recently got a Supia boy body (64cm) but haven't tried it yet. I think it depends on the head. The bigger older heads look OK, but smaller ones like Won and Aden look a bit pinheaded.

 

Does anyone know what female bodies will work for a Sooah head without having to modify the neck or neck hole? Trying to find a body for floating Sooah head I got secondhand ages ago.

 

@namika I've put mine on an old feeple60 body from fairyland.

 

I’m certain there is a whole, huge thread on Elfdoll hybrids!! There are a lot of bodies they work with.

Yes it's a pity - we all get too busy to take pics. I am back to work on Tuesday after a nice break which I spent on my doll hobby so it's been wonderful having more time with dolls

I still have a Eun-A to paint but no body of her own so perhaps I will eventually get to her as well. I may redo my Rita too at some stage. I still have Sooah and June too but just as floating heads. And Hazy as well...the Rainy dolls came at the beginning of my BJD obsession.
