Elfdoll Tinies Doona Discussion

I have a Hana Angel and her body really doesn't bother me. Sure the torso looks a little long and her legs might seem a little short to some (but I have short legs too so I won't hold that against her!) Otherwise, her proportions are great and she's so realistic looking. I never have a problem posing her and her weight and the quality of her resin and face-ups is just spectacular. The changable face-plates are truly wonderful in the way they work...so easy to change. She is one of my very favorite BJD's and is just plain fun to play with. It's hard to keep my hands off her...her size is so nice too. Actually it's the possibility that child Soah and child Ryung are on the Hana bodies that makes me so determined to have one!!!

 

Ooh, finger spasms. *nods sagely* They gave me medication for that. I have hidden it under the bed so it does not interfere.

I was doing Ok untill the other day I was having a coughing fit ...bought on by hairballs
the bucket fell off and too late !!! allowed me to see Kathy`s fairy and the white Pippos rabbit
....and my finger came over all wild and uncontrollable

Im resting again now and hopefully the Duck tape will keep the bucket firmly in place untill I can overcome the Spazzy finger ...sigh otherwise I fear a relapse and one of these girls may fall in ...tragic

I wish we could learn more about these! Elfdoll has posted a new banner, though, and it looks like Doona could have three faceplates, and one is the painted animal one! So cute!

 

The hands look like hanas

I wonder what the painted face looks like without the paint. Its a bit crude of course its meant to look like that like you see children have at fairs. However I would want it wiped.

I think its past the 10th now in Korea.

 

Treelore, good point - I wonder if it's just the same as the "regular" face, with different paint? It's hard to tell from the banner. I think they are probably on the Hana body too, since it says they are the second "new tiny". They're adorable, but I'm probably safe.

 

Does someone have a link to these pics? I can't seem to find them!

I can't see the new banner either, so thanks for posting it! I love the main Ryung, but the other faceplates will obviously go up for sale---IF I end up with her. I get the Halloween costume faceup, but I would rather have something more realistic, too. Such complainers, we!

 

Ok they are up and they have the hana bodies, its a big turn off for me to be honest so I am passing on them despite the beautiful face on the Soah which I love. Something just strange overall with that body urgh.... the smiling one is kinda creepy like she should have a knife in one hand could be fun for photo shoot though!! a bit Mark Ryden with the bike too.

MY opinion of course anyone who loves this body can ignor my posts, congrats on your new kids! Yeh Hibiscus I am a complainer hee hee..... I just want to see a doll that doesn't have a big flaw that I love seems hard to find (not that I need more dolls or anything!).

 

Someone needs to tell Rainman that its "Leopard" not "Leotard"!!!

Unless, I'm mistaken and there's a version wearing leotards.

i would have loved to see the painted face be a real animal faceplate.

I don't have a Hanna but I did note that many didn't like her body. It says that the bodies have been upgraded tho...shorter torso, 1 part thighs, shorter arms, longer legs. Maybe this will be more to everyones liking. At least the pics of her new body look better than the old one.

I absolutely love love love her innocent face and her sleeping face. Her bunny face is funny but I think it will grow on me, and her smiling face is so unusual - so four different face plates! *wow*

I just went into hock to purchase Soah, now I have to hock further for Doona Soah, she's lovely.... If you haven't looked on the Doona Ryung page, there is what has got to be one of the best pix ever, with the two of them in suits riding a tiny bike together. And just saw Ryung's sleepy but leopardly-cunning eyes face.... ok, fine, so I'm going to end up falling for her too, I am just going to flail a little bit on the way down.... ^_^

The new hana body looks like it has many improvements. I am in love with the little Ryung! I just got my Sibara this weekend, so a new purchase will have to wait. She is more expensive than I was anticipating, too, but a wonderful set with four plates.

Where's that money tree?
