Elysium Doll discussion

Do they ever re-release there sculpts?

 

I'm not sure - maybe they rereleased a Hugo sculpt or two? They've had so many Hugo versions I can't keep them all straight and anyway, while I think Hugo is a nice doll, I don't really want him for my own so I don't pa very good attention.

I asked about Axel and they said they aren't selling him anymore, but given that Migi rereleased Ryu, IOS rereleased Garsh and K-doll rereleased original Kill-U, all after they said they weren't selling any more, hope springs eternal. This economy is so bad, I would think a small head company would at least consider a rerelease if the doll was popular enough to be in demand.

 

I hope so I am in love with the wren b head, of course it's sold out.

I asked if they would release it again but no answer.
Hopefully they will...we'll see i guess

I've recently fallen for the beauty that is Elysium Jamie and I'm trying to do as much research as I can on him...doesn't seem to be any Jamie's around however, but seeing as he's still a bit new I suppose that's understandable.

Mostly I don't know very much about Elysium except that I think these heads are limited? I'm a little worried about that since Jamie is so pretty and he's the only sculpt I've seen that made me really think he could suit a hard to place character of mine, so I don't want him to sell out quickly. However, I noticed some heads like Hugo have been sold since 2007 and are still being sold so I wonder if I shouldn't worry about Jamie going anywhere anytime soon?

Yes, I get a little panicky sometimes over heads like this since it'd take awhile to get him : / Any insight would be very helpful

 

I think the Hugo head has changed versions a lot - it's the same basic sculpt but they change its expression and so forth, sort of like MsDoll making minor changes to Drayton repeatedly but still calling it "Drayton".

If I really wanted a Jamie I wouldn't delay in getting him since Elysium doesn't seem to have fixed ordering periods or re-releases, unfortunately, so you never know what's going to happen one day to the next unless one of them decides to give some information on here.

 

OOoh, I see, thank you very much for explaining that a bit more. Though it does seem quite unfortunate though since I've no idea when I'll be able to actually order a Jamie >.<; But since it sounds like it'd be a good idea to order as soon as possible guess I'll have to work something out...

Ah, I wanted to bump this up again and ask if anyone knew how to order from the Elysium sales page? I posted a question over in Shipping but haven't recieved a response and although I'v figured out how to sign in and I still don't see an option for actually purchasing a head. I'm going to try very hard to get that Jamie head by the end of this month but would like to see how the whole ordering process works in the meantime.

Anyone around have any Elysium dolls? My floating head Anthoney is still...well...a floating head.

I'd love to talk about the Elysium sculpts, but I'm not sure who out there has them nowadays.

Bumping for fellow owners of Elysium dolls, these guys are so beautiful they deserve so much more discussion? Does anyone else here own a Jamie? I've looked everywhere but have yet to find any owner pictures of him.

I own a Elysium Leon. Besides the year he was introduced, there wasn't anyone who really post photos of the head. Or not much people have own it. I love most of the Elysium molds. Hope could see more of them! Especially those new molds!

 

Does Elysium have a new site? Or place that they sell currently? Because anytime I try to go to their site, it gives me an error!

My Lud-N still needs a body. T_T I'm really hoping to get him one this year, but I won't be able to start saving up until after my vacation at the end of July...

I forgot all about this thread. I ordered an Elysium Stella (I'll post a pic later) earlier this year. She is so cute and Jia did the faceup. But I'm going to have to sell her. I'm trying to down size my collection. She is quite lovely though; I have her on a Leeke girl body (skin does not match).

Two new sculpts: Igor-N and Luna-N

I really like the look of Igor-N. Though, he does remind me of Switch-style sculpts.

 

He really is like Switch sculpts. Igor has lovely eyes.

Edit: I suppose these will still match Volks normal?

 

I'm kind of desperately in love with the Luna-N head -- I sent an email to try to place an order, but after four days without a reply, I thought I'd better try a different route. I just figured out this morning how to join the site, and after a lot of clicking around, I think I've managed to post my order on the site's bulletin board.

But am I misinterpreting the website? Do orders begin on February 20, or end then? I took "~ Feb 20" to mean "until Feb 20," but I may be all wrong.

Does anyone here read Korean? Is there clearer ordering info on the Korean pages?
