Ever Been Spooked (Directly or Indirectly) By Your Doll?

Mar 1, 2007

    1. I don't even have my doll yet and he's starting to scare me. Some of these stories are creepy! *is easily scared :sweat*

    2. D: There was one time I left Lenore in her box and went to work. I came home that evening to find her sitting on her couch T-T I HAVE NO IDEA how that happened but it gave me a nice startle. >_<

    3. My doll, Lyra, once just randomly fell from her sitting place. But she fell into a sitting positon and her head turned all the way around. I stil find this spooky but also very funny.

    4. When I was going to sleep last night, my doll must have fallen off the shelf above my bed and he flopped onto my blankets, freaked me out bad before I figured out it was just him. XD

    5. I am still creeped out by dolls, but when I see one of these I just sit and stare untill someone pulls me away. ((My mom said I was drooling when I was staring at my doll-to-be on the computer.)) But seriously, Scary-we have a doll in the garage, its like, four feet tall and on the rafters of the garage so whenever I look up it's just two doll legs sticking out. o . o...And whenever I told anyone about my first boy, they immediatly said "Omg! It's Chuckie!" Noo! Thats kinda why My boy, Aiden, sleeps in the living room. The added bonus is, he has no hands, or head right now. SCARY! For three weeks his body wil be lieing motionless in his little carying case...The poor thing..

    6. :lol: Oh, I have a kind of creepy one! My Samuel has recently become an amputy because of a broken eye hook in his foot. I took off his lower leg and held the elastic in place with a cork plug I made. The other day, he was sitting on the pillows of my bed while I was getting ready for the day, and I had to step out for a minute to grab something, and when I came back he was on the foot of my bed face down, like he had fallen over :ablink: I've always held the same theory from The Little Princes that dolls move around when you are not there and as soon as they hear you coming they rush back to their places "like lightning". This is also the basis for the toy story movie, but I like the original better. I then laughed at him a bit and said " can't move so fast now, can you?"
      I am a little creaped out, but I'm more amussed than anything else.

    7. My dollies havn't scared me yet, but Yumikit's Kitch scared the CRAP outta me once.

      I arrived at her house a little too early for a birthday party once, so I just kinda let myself in and started taking pictures of my boys. I called her and asked if I could grab Kitch. So I head up to her room, and turn on the light, and he's sitting on her lizard cage, like...five inches from my face, STARING at me. It scared me sobad. So I gave him a friendly smack on the head and said, "Don't DO that!" xDDD

    8. I was over my friends house and we were taking pictures of Wes (TornChaos' Wesley). Then, all of a sudden Wes moved his arm and slapped Ruu and luckily we caught him. I dunno...it was just freaky. o_o So I told Wes he was a bad boy xD

    9. That is INSANELY creepy! Eek!

    10. I've never been creeped out by the bjds I've had, actually...this may sound funny but the only doll I can remember freaking me out bad enough to remove it to the attic was my fragle rock Red doll >.<;; It was the huge, lidless eyes...something about that just disturbed me X.x But otherwise, I was usually good with most of my dolls. I used to especially be favored with an old Lady Lovelylocks dolls lol ^^;

    11. I never was afraid of dolls in general,

      I got a bit confused why people say dollfies are creepy, I did not believe that of course XD

      until about 2 weeks ago, my friend's doll stay with me for 2 nights. Because he came with me without a bag, I have no save place to put him beside my bed and the chair.
      So when I was going to sleep, I put him on the chair, sitting there, facing my bed.
      and somehow, I got a bit freaked and I couldn't sleep...o_O
      I dare not see the doll ( even tho I adore him soooo much, he's so cute if not in the dark O_O )
      and somehow I feel like someone is going to touch me or whatever...

      I didn't feel that when I am with my doll, maybe that one is not mine, so it's un-bonded with me...

      or maybe it was just my weird imagination XD

    12. Hm, I have always really like porcielin dolls. My aunt had several rooms full of them, and as a kid I'd just go into the rooms and look at them, because they were to fragile to play with. And oh how I wanted to play with them! XD

      Strangely enough I've yet to come across a doll I own that I don't like. I have three Living Dead dolls that I adore, but I can't display them because I have no room, so they sit under my bed in their little coffins. I also have an American Girl Felicity doll, but she stays at my mother's house because there isn't any room for her bed and dresser and everything else. I always feel bad whenever I visit her. I really should find a place to put her. ;_;

      I love these stories though! They sound so cool. :)

    13. Yesterday my boy was acting creepy... He was sitting near my computer and no matter how I repositioned his head he always looked as he was staring at me with ominous eyes.
      Which by the way is strange because he's got very sweet eyes normally... and they always look as they are looking far away...
      That was really... creepy... then I realized I was singing a very poor version of Civil War and I understood that glare :D

    14. the other day i took my mnf lishe outside where it was pretty bright, and she kept putting her hands up over her eyes! every time she'd shift a little bit, her hands would go right back over her eyes. it kinda freaked me out D:

      i think i should buy her some sunglasses, lol.

    15. Sydney has no faceup presently, she is a blank head with some eyes in. She MUST have a wig or hat over her eyes so she can't look at me. Having her look at me with NO FACE is spooky. I just can't do it ><

    16. Lol I am glad to see that I am not the only one with this theory (I used to believe in it when I was a kid and I feel kind of ashamed to say that I still kinda believe it now...:sweat )

    17. spooky story
      but if my doll says " i love you " i'd have mix feeling i don't know i should be happy or scared ^_ ^

    18. wow these stories are fun. i don't have any dolls yet, and i don't think i've ever been afraid of them in general... except for the living dead dolls. i pass them all the time in hot topic and they always look like they're staring right at me. don't get me wrong, i love the creepiness, but they're just strange to me.

      besides that i've grown up with porcelain dolls; my mother used to collect them. a few years ago she got a really old one from her aunt or someone. it has buck teeth and cracked skin. it's eyes are like, non-existant. but it sits in the living room on a chair and doesn't move. i've never gotten any vibes or anything from it, it's just creepy.

      kind of off topic, but i am like some people on here that can sense presences. one time it was early in the morning and i was looking in my mirror when i glanced over and saw a transparent face right next to mine. it didn't scare me at all. then i thought it was the nightmare before christmas dolls sitting on my desk behind me, but i don't think so. sorry that was so off topic, please don't hate me.

    19. Awww, no we won't! =3

      We're glad you decided to share!

      I didn't know Living Dead dolls were still being sold. O_O

      I have never been really spooked, except that sometimes, when I look my dolls in the eyes, I get this mild, intense feeling of hate from one of them. O_O;

      Lucia wants me to get Haru as soon as I can. ^^;

    20. Well I feel nothing but love from my Kaito...although occasionally he does seem to get really really sad but a few hugs and I'll sit and run my hands over his little back and it goes away.

      He spooked my sister though. She was teasing him (I think it was about his pink skull pjs, saying he looked like a girl) and his head suddenly snapped towards her (which was in the oposite direction from where I had posed him on the coffee table) and she swore that he was glaring at her (my boy is painted with a rather pleasant, calm, slightly smiling faceup so it can't have been that lol). Also if I'm holding him and my boyfriend puts his arms around me or hugs me Kaito has a tendency to kick him (his legs are a little kicky but that is only when you try to straighten them out, I'm talking about him extending his leg directly in front of him or swinging it to the side when I'm holding onto him and he is in the position his legs naturally fall in...it never happened before I introduced my boyfriend and him. I think Kaito may be a little jealous lol).
