Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     1. Oh joy! Pretty soon our girls will be here. I've been following my tracking and there's no way she'll get here by Christmas. But, that's ok, it will just extend the joy! And I have several girls/guys that could use some special attention. We have most of our festivities on Christmas Eve and then a Christmas Day dinner. But our gathering will be small this year, so it won't be a big production.

      Enjoy the holidays! I look forward to seeing your special touch on your Iris.

    3. Thank you for the shot! Actually the SD guy heads look very good in comparison to Iris on these pics. The inside of her calves are high though wonder if I like that.

    5. They look really nice together! It would actually be really helpful for me to see a SD guy head on the body, as there are several volks boy heads I'd love as a girl and this body is just so cute and beautiful..I just love the legs <3

    6. Hooray! She's here. She arrived the day after Christmas. I love her so far. Really nice resin, very high quality. I think she must have been from a second batch or something. Because it seems like Everpurple figured out the non-matching resin color issue as my Iris has completely the same colored resin for all her parts. Also, no thin spots anywhere. Her head is thick like Volks heads and no thinning around the eyes or anywhere.

      I do love the way she poses--right out of the box she stands like a champ and sits up straight on her own perfectly. I like how her knees look and bend too. Nice range of motion on the head although not the best I've seen. And excellent range of motion for the hands. My things I like the best about posing is easy to stand, sits up straight easily with no propping up and nice range of motion for the hands. So Iris is perfect in all those areas. And the range of motion for the head is definitely enough to keep me very happy.

      Her one piece torso is absolutely gorgeous! What a beautiful shape! Love, love, love it! And I like her shapely legs. Her sculpting is really great although the hands are kind of funny--very detailed sculpting in the palms but less so on the top of her hands although the nails are definitely well done.

      I'm working on her faceup and body blushing tonight. I really had nothing in mind when I got started. She just sort of evolved. I'm not sure I'll keep this faceup. I think I got too carried away on the lips. I hope to have pictures tomorrow.

      So excited she's finally here!

      P.S. Everpurple also included some beautiful eyes in a sort of light taupe color, a set of string and a set of magnets. Nice!

    9. Mine arrived today as well and since people were asking about her hands and about resin comparison, I've tried to do both in one picture. So here are three hands, left is SD, middle EP Iris and on the right side SD16 next to each other. Compared to those hands I think the proportions are nice. This photo was taken by daylight, both Volks dolls are pureskin normal and I think the match is very close.

    10. Can't wait to see your lovely Iris, Jay! From what everyone has said here, she sounds like a beautiful, quality doll. I hope I get some pretty urethane eyes with mine too.

      I don't know where my Iris is...tracking hasn't updated since the 23rd, all it says is that she has left Korea... :( I was hoping she'd be here by now!

      I absolutely love her! She's a bit more mature than I thought she would be, but that's totally fine. Makes her more versatile. She has a sort of Unoa look to her.

      Sharkyra - that's an excellent comparison shot. And I agree that Iris' color is very similar to Volks if not identical.

      Sylphide - where is your girl? Is someone holding her hostage? Boo! I hope she gets there soon.

      suhmat - I'll try to get pictures of aa Volks F01 on Iris's body soon although my girl is oldskin Volks F01.

    14. My Iris arrived today. She's a lovely doll, although I'm not sure how I feel about her body. I know everyone loves her legs, but they seem a bit too knock-kneed to me. I might end up getting her a new body.

      Unfortunately, I will be writing to Everpurple about the faceup. I loved the faceup the girl doll had, so I had them do a faceup for my Iris. Only, she arrived with the boy version of the faceup :/ Additionally, the quality isn't that great (eyebrows are noticeably uneven) and it's covered with dark smudges on the forehead and one cheek. Resin looks very even-colored and generally solid (although the thinness of the ears makes me a bit nervous), so I'm fairly pleased on that end. But I definitely wouldn't recommend faceups from Everpurple.

    20. Yeah, I ordered mine on the 12th, so I finally asked them a couple of days ago, and they said they would ship my boy on Tuesday or Wednesday coming up. I hope that means everyone who's waiting will recieve there's soon! :)
